We stayed here in mid-March, and found this to be one of the best European hotels we have had the pleasure to reside in during our travels. You can't go wrong here - the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, the breakfast is *wonderful*, the staff are friendly (and speak English), and the rooms are spacious. It is perfectly located a short walk from the rail station (We did the walk with a huge suitcase, and found it to be no problem), and right in the middle of the shopping district. Our room *did* have a hairdryer, and we had a fabulous time. It was a great price as well (as Mercure's seem to be). The only complaint is that internet access was not free, and was in fact quite expensive - if it were free, there isn't a chance we would ever stay anywhere else in Dortmund!

We booked this hotel for a weekend break for Christmas shopping. It was an excellent choice. The hotel is situated right in the middle of all the shops. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is spotless. The room we had was very comfortable and absolutely spotless. Breakfast is excellent and faultless. There is a little lounge area which is comfortable to sit in and relax. I would thoroughly recommend visiting Dortmund to see the Christmas market. I don't know if there is much to see or do at other times of the year. We also took a taxi to and from the airport. It only cost 22 euro which was well worth it.

This was only 5 minutes' walk from the railway station, and right in the heart of Dortmund. Situated on the third floor of a dining and retail centre, it doesn't have a great exterior, but as soon as you get up to the reception area, you feel welcomed and relaxed. The room was perfectly fine for a short stay - clean and comfortable - and the breakfast buffet was great. Very good value.

In Dortmund for a long weekend. The hotel was in an excellent central location, 5minutes from the airport bus stop and with lots of shops on the doorstep.Our room was very quiet, spacious and spotlessly clean. I did not have breakfast in the hotel but the cafe underneath the hotel did an excellent breakfast for a fraction of the cost. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there if I return to Dortmund.

Habe in Dortmund ein langes Wochenende verbracht. Das Hotel ist in ausgezeichneter, zentraler Lage, nur 5 min von der Haltestelle zum Flughafen entfernt und direkt vor der Tür hat man viele Geschäfte. Unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig, geräumig und makellos sauber. Ich habe nicht im Hotel gefrühstückt aber hatte im Cafe unter dem Hotel ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück für einen Bruchteil der Kosten. Ich kann dieses Hotel rundherum empfehlen und ich würde hier mit Sicherheit wieder unterkommen wenn ich noch einmal in Dortmund wäre.
