This is a good hotel. Location is perfect if you're driving through the Netherlands going somewhere else or want to stay near one of the big cities without being right in them. Right next to the motorway - but you don't hear it at all. Putten railway station is 10 minutes drive with a big enough car park if you want to head into Amsterdam or elsewhere. Hotel staff were very helpful making sure we knew where to go. The marina and river are lovely with a nice beach for kids and it's a nice area to walk around - although quite a lot of bugs around (screens for windows in bedrooms to keep them out!). Peace and quiet. Rooms are fine - nothing outstanding but the price is reasonable. Restaurant is pretty good with a good selection, including a reasonable childrens menu. I wouldn't want to eat here every night for a week, but for a day or two it's OK. Nice bar overlooking the river which makes for a pleasant evening. A really convenient hotel that does the job we wanted in a much better location than we thought was possible.
