Just an ordinary hotel, nothing exceptional. But for West Africa, it was clean and good staff.

I travel frequently and all over Africa and I have to say this was one of the worst hotels. The hotel is 30 years old and has never been renovated. The rooms had white "popcorn" walls and ceilings so you had the feeling of being in a cell. I never had hot water in the ten days I was there. The restaurant was mediocre at best and very expensive. The pool area, however, was nice. They had a beautiful pool and a snack bar serving sandwiches throughout they day. If you play tennis, they have a descent court next to the pool. Sadly, after all this, it was still one the best hotels in Ouaga. The Sofitel was much nicer but it was very far away from were I needed to be.

We spent one night at this hotel. We arrived very late at night and entered the hotel tired. We quickly finished the check-in procedure. The staff was helpful.
The hotel is located in a beautiful setting. The room we stayed at has a great view of the Volta River. The city of Ouagadougou is a bit chaotic but this hotel serves as a haven from the rest of the city.
