Not a tourist area that's for sure, but when you want to see where your roots came from, as I did, it's a good pick. The desk clerk spoke English which was a comfort. Seeing two drawings of naked women in bed in the lobby made me wonder what I had gotten us into, but it turned out to be okay. Our room was split in half with a sitting area, tv, and bar in the entrance area and the bed and bath in the other. Large window in each area as well. Room and lobby were clean. The restaurant, which has won some awards was good! Found a worker that spoke some English and she was so sweet and tried to be helpful. Live music even - one man played a violin and another played a guitar. One waiter sang a few songs. The breakfast buffet contained a fruit salad that we had had at dinner the night before. Not alot to choose from for breakfast, but at least it was something. We did have to put a towel at the bottom of the door in our room since our neighbor was smoking!
