I stayed at this property for six nights in April 2008. It was a pleasant, comfortable stay. My family and I happened upon the hotel during our first day in Paris. We inquired about the price and were given a fair and reasonable rate for a renovated family room with three beds. The room was light, airy and comfortable. It had a small refrigerator which came in handy for breakfast foods and snacks. The bathroom was ample size and had a nice sized bathtub. The front desk staff was extremely accomodating and helpful. They honored every request and made certain our room was cleaned early in the morning as per our request. They also gave us two extra twin size quilts to be used on the sofa beds which made the stay even more pleasant. We had a noise problem the first night, and they made certain not to book the room above us for the remainder of our stay. It was so wonderful to come back to our room after touring all day in Paris. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Paris!

stayed there for a weekend and very happy with it. they are refurbishing the whole hotel and we had a renovated room which was great. very comfortable bed, nice modern bathroom (small but clean). rooms near elevator can be a bit noisy though. breakfast buffet is great for a 3star hotel - hot scrambled eggs, sausages, boiled eggs, cold cuts, cheese, fruit etc and freshly squeezed orange juice. good value for EUR15.00 p.person! location also great, lots of restaurants/eateries around. 3min walk to gare montparnasse with all main metro lines and trains in and out of paris.

I have been very disappointed about my stay at the Mercure Montparnasse. For the price (almost 200 euros/night) the room are not comfortable and look more like a 2 stars/100 euros night hotel. In addition, the staff is really not friendly and helpful. Will definitely never go there again.

Ho recentemente soggiornato a Parigi per sei giorni /5 notti al "Mercure Montparnasse" e lo consiglio vivamente! Le camere sono spaziose, la pulizia inceccepibile, tutto è perfettamente funzionante (asciugacapelli,TV, frigo, prese, telefono, aria condizionata) Molto apprezzata la cassaforte in camera. Il personale è cortese, discreto e disponibile. La prima-colazione a buffet varia con prodotti freschi più che soddisfacente e ogni mattina sono messi a disposizione dei clienti diversi quotidiani e riviste . Ho trovato anche molto utile l'affissione nella bacheca accanto alla reception delle previsioni meteo della giornata. Dovendo effettuare il check-out entro le ore 12,00 ed avendo la partenza del TGV per il ritorno alle 16,00 - prima ancora che lo richiedessi - il personale ci ha suggerito la possibilità di lasciare nella bagagerie (oviamente custodita) tutto il nostro bagaglio per ritirarlo quando volevamo. L'Hotel - inoltre - è vicinissimo alle stazioni della metro "Edgar Quinet" - "Gaitè" e "Montparnasse bienvenue" nonchè alla stazione ferroviaria di Montparnasse (utilissima per recarsi a Versailles con 10 minuti di percorrenza) Inoltre la zona è ben servita sia da ristoranti e locali dove mangiare (cucina di qualsiasi tipo) a prezzi più che ragionevoli che da almeno tre supermercati fornitissimi oltre che trovarsi vicinissimo alle Galerie Lafayette. Lo consiglio vivamente!
