Didn't care much about the credit card fraud

On our way to our winter sports destination in Austria with two kids this seemed like a nice midway point with good facilities. The hotel was fine, room was good and the service was as expected. The pool was a bit cramped but it was pretty clean.
The bad part was when we got back I found out my credit card had been charged twice for two different amounts by the hotel. After contacting them they informed me 'they had no record of the transaction', which is kind of strange when their name is on my credit card statement. After another e-mail to them, saying that I would expect from a decent hotel to solve problems like this I got no response whatsoever. Of course my credit card has refunded me, but I still have a very bad aftertaste about this hotel. I would not recommend staying in this hotel and I am for now certainly avoiding the Mercure/Accor chain.

Under new management, has gone downhill. Food in restaurant no value for money anymore, no salad buffet (manager thought it doesn't earn him money), meal salad was tiny, however the waiter was very friendly and he recommended an excellent white wine and also told us about the changes to the restaurant (he was obviously not so happy with that). Rooms still okay but what were those whitish stains on the footstool??????? Yuck!!!!
Breakfast buffet still nice but I had to ask for a roll of bread. The staff apologized and said the manager thinks the rolls are too large!!! I'm speaking of normal sized "br?tchen" and/or croissants. Also the charges for the parking garage have risen considerably. We were here for the 5th time but we will never ever come back anymore. Thanks Mr. Belgian manager for losing a client.

This was a very nice hotel. Clean and with helpful staff.
About 40 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes to Marienplatz and Munich centre. Good location if you don't mind being a bit further out.
Bought coffee and pastry from bakery at the station but didn't try the breakfast at the hotel. The sauna was good but the pool was a bit small.
Would recommend this hotel.

Got 2 s-bahn trains to this hotel. Takes about 40 minutes from the airport. not bad.
Finding the hotel is a bit confusing from the Neuperlach Sued train station but it's not far.
My advice if you get out at S-Bahn stop is to walk towards the U-Bahn station and continue walking up the street on the left side opposite the big Siemens factory you will soon see the Mercure sign. Takes about 5 minutes.
Room fine, receptionists friendly and I think it was the S2 train got us to Hackersbrucke direct where the Oktoberfest is situated so that was very handy.
