I was booked to stay at the Mecure for a work conference.
The location is good for people flying in to Charles de Galle Airport (about 15 minutes by taxi) but I would not recommend staying here for any other reason.
We paid a company rate of 110 euro per night and for that money I was very disappointed.
The room was clean and relatively spacious. However the bed was rock solid and small. I'm 6'3" and my feet were at least half a foot off the end of the bed.
The room felt tired and the sheets and towels were worn. Not what I'd expect for the price.
I ate in the restaurant every night and although we only ate a set menu the food was adequate but not to the standard I would expect from a quality hotel in France.
The staff however were polite and enthusiastic.
I would not stay here again as it's not up to Mecure standards, but if you can get a deal and the location is convenient then it would be OK.

Not up to Mercure standard

We didnt find this mercure hotel up to the usual standard - firstly there was no outside lighting making it impossible to see for unloading, also the hotel sign was also out so difficult to actually find the hotel - once inside it was Ok but not as plesant as other mercure hotels also the breakfast was very average and noisy. We were disappointed and will not be staying there again we will try one of the budget hotel in the area instead.
The inside is way better than the outside!

We booked this hotel for a one-night stopover on our way home from a holiday in France. We chose a Mercure because, having stayed in a couple of the same chain before, we have always found them reliable if not spectacular.
The hotel is located in a rather unattractive but open area, where a new housing development is being built. There are a number of other chain hotels close by, at all the different price ranges, as well as some of the well-known French chain restaurants.
The outside of the hotel looks like a 1970's pre-fabricated horror and we weren't very hopeful when we arrived! However our opinion soon changed when we arrived at reception. The interior is nicely decorated in warm colours, attractive and relaxing, which is just what you want after a long drive on one of the busiest days of the year in France.
The young lady on reception could not have been more welcoming. Although I can speak French well enough to arrange hotel rooms, she insisted on speaking English, despite her apologies for her poor English - which of course was not true; she spoke English rather well.
The rooms were clearly not new but they were absolutely fine; nicely decorated, everything worked properly and it was very clean and comfortable.
We didn't eat at the hotel in the evening. We did have breakfast however, which was excellent for a French hotel (it can be a rather "minimal" breakfast at some hotels!) and nobody tried to hurry you out, and you could have as much coffee as you wanted. Incidentally our 14-year old son got his breakfast for free.
We were so impressed with the welcome and the attitude of the staff and the general atmosphere of the place that we wrote to Mercure customer relations afterwards to tell them, and they wrote us a very nice reply back.
So if you're looking for an unfussy reliable place to stay, not too far from Paris, for a night or two, I would recommend this wholeheartedly.
