Stayed here in February with my wife and two kids (3 & 7) and we were very happy. Great staff, young, enthusiastic and very friendly. We went for Half Board and the breakfast was both plentiful and ideal before heading out to the slopes. The evening meals were a good variety and good quality. The soups were excellent! Good selection of local wines and prices for Courchevel were fair. If you wish to try a local raclette then worth paying the extra for a table in the cellar restaurant but make sure you go very hungry since large portions! The cable car (Jardin Alpin) to go up or down is very close by as is the green run down to Courchevel. One word of warning the cable car to go down to Courchevel only starts at 09:20 ish for some strange reason so if you have kids in the ski school best to book the free hotel navette to take you to the door (another excellent service offered by the hotel). The rooms are simple but comfortable and more than suitable. The kids have a bunk bed area. The bathroom was a little tired with some of the tiles needing fixing but apart from that we found the hotel good value for money. The housekeeping staff also very helpful in providing extra pillows and towels. Would definitely go back. A side comment on eating in Courchevel. Walked away from several mountain places in disgust, dirty glasses, greasy boring food and sullen staff. Best to head for the small sandwich place in the shopping mall opposite the News Agent. Can also recomend the Creperie next to the Jardin Alpin Cable car. Went here several times. Avoid the adjoining restaurant though which is grossly overpriced and the food is mediocre at best. In summary Courchevel is still top of my list for one of the best places to go skiing.

My family stayed here for the easter weekend 2006 and I can't recommend this hotel enough. The hotel must have one of the best locations in Courchevel - in the jardin alpin area with amazing uninterupted views of the mountains. Stayed in a family room which was really lovely; we had a really comfortable kingsize bed in main bedroom, with bunks in a cabin area seperated with a door for our 2 children. Nice bathroom and plenty of storage for all the ski gear. We informed the hotel that we would be arriving late on the first night and they kept a cold buffet for us to eat - really appreciated and delicious. The food throughout the weekend was really good, nice buffet breakfast with plenty of choice and lovely choice of 2 or 3 starters and main courses in the evening - really fantastic views from the restaurant. The dessert buffet was particularly good, our children thought it was the best. Reasonable wine list. Hotel in a superb location - 2 mins walk from the piste and then ski down to button lift or further down to la croisette. The service in the hotel was outstanding, the manager made us feel so welcome - as did all the other staff, they couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommend this hotel - in a fantastic location, with such good service and at a reasonable price for 1850.

Excellent evening meals and a filling breakfast buffet - this hotel offered great value for money and far exceeded our expectations. Our room had a lovely view over the lake, and towards the Saulire. Only gripe was that the car park tended to be full most nights meaning we sometimes had to park on the approach road. I imagine staying here in winter must be fantastic - as it is almost next door to the Jardin Alpin gondola station.

Value for your money! We were there last Christmas after some reserch. The room was good service good and the food was above average. We had a very good ten days stay. Will go again when we ski in Courchevel.
