I stayed in this hotel for business purposes and found it very charming. It is an old building entirely renovated and smack in the middle of Vilnius's pretty historical centre. Service is good and rooms are spacious. I had booked a single room and was upgraded to a double. This is not the first time I stay here and rooms are not all of the same standard (some are prettier than others) but they are all of overall good quality. The breakfast is served typically in a "cellar" restaurant and is very good, varied and healthy. Extras like pancakes and eggs made to order are included in the price.

We enjoyed this hotel, which is located on a pretty pedestrian street close (but not too close) to the tourist center of Vilnius.
We had booked a double but were upgraded to a junior suite - one room, but large enough so the three of us could keep different schedules without waking each other up. Plush furniture, soft carpets, and a bathroom with a luxuriously large bathtub, plus a set of exotic shampoos and soaps made with Dead Sea salts. The housekeeping staff brought lovely home-made chocolates for each of us every evening.
The breakfast was exceptional, although the service was spotty - we stayed for three nights, and every single morning I had to hunt down a waitress and ask for a pot of tea, instead of one simply being offered. (Service in Vilnius in general is, um, "leisurely". ) Items also seemed to disappear as the breakfast period wore on, so if you are hungry, I suggest you go early. The food is very good - don't miss the marinated salmon.
We ate one meal in the hotel's restaurant, and it was excellent, although the service here was also quite "relaxed. " (We had the French chicken plus beef bouillon with a kibinai, a local-style meat pie, and drank one of the wonderful Lithuanian beers.) There are several restaurants on the same walking street, including "Sopranos," an Italian ice cream shoppe with a fabulous chocolate, a wonderful mixed berry sherbet, and an exceedingly grumpy staff. Avoid "Sinto," the Japanese restaurant next door to the hotel, which has all the grumpiness with none of the quality.
All in all, staying at the Narutis was one of the highlights of our time in Vilnius, and I would recommend it to a friend or colleague.

I was in Vilnius on business in June and stayed at Narutis hotel for a week.
Its one of the best hotels I stayed so far and you cannot beat the location- its right in the middle of old town.
Breakfast was quite good as well, you can order from breakfast menu and the choice is quite good.
Overall I was very pleased with my stay and would recommend this hotel for both- business travelers and tourists.

Great Hotel

Just returned from an 8 night stay at Hotel Narutis. I was with my wife and 15 year old son. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and it's location. It is on a beautiful cobblestoned street in the middle of all that is happening. Cafes, restaurants, shops. But the best part was that hundreds of people would walk up and down the street each evening (and day) just enjoying the atmoshere and each other. Street musicians provided an ever changing score.
The room was very nice, clean, and quiet. The hotel staff was so willing to help with whatever. Breakfast, which is included, was terrific. A large buffet , champagne, or order off the menu (included). The cottage cheese blintzes are to die for.
Vilnius is a beautiful, magnificent city and Narutis is the perfect home base.
Don't stay here!!!

Extra extra extra. This hotel is not 4 star. reception staff were great but that is where it ends.
everything is extra. The slow internet link is charged at an enourmous 17 euros per day. they have a swimming pool which you can use for 15 euros a time!
Breakfast was a disaster. How difficult is it to make egg on toast with both egg and toast arriving at the same time! They could not achieve this in the 3 days i stayed.
Room was average but I found the beds uncomfortable. For
Uk visitors their was not one English speaking channel on the TV. Unheard of in Europe these days.
Normal protocol in Vilnius is to get the hotel, bar or restaurant to order you a taxi. By using this method you pay much lower fares than if you simply wave one down on the street. - Except if you a re a guest of this hote!! they even have a scheme to rip you off on this! Taxi to the airport is usually 15 to 20 litas. The hotel booked my taxi but I was charged 50 litas. When I questioned this the taxi driver appologised but told me that he had to give a big lump of this back to the hotel and suggested I call the taxi firm personally if I stay at this hotel!!
Never again. there are much better hotels in Vilnius at similar prices - so take my advice - go elsewhere.
