My wifeand I have just stayed for 3 nights at this very good Hotel and as with previous reviewers found the Staff extremely helpful and very efficient. The position of the Hotel is I would say its best point 2 mins from the Champs Elysee. The Breakfast very nice but they did charge extra for Eggs why? The front desk gave us a reccomendation for a Seafood Restaurent in the 9th which was superb. The Hotel Restaurent is closed all August and the prices for that month very competitive, we got 3 nights for the price of two and the room was very good.

Originally I was very impressed by previous reviews on this hotel.
I decided to book their best suite for a 4 day stay in paris recently, and was expecting an amazing service. I have to say I travel several times per month so I am used to good service in the places I usually stay.
I was a little surprised when the doorman didn't bother helping me with my luggage when the cab driver gave it to me. he just stayed there looking at me, without moving an inch.
Then I was greeted by a young receptionist who instead of saying hello turned to a colleague at the rear and said "here's an arrival !" as if it was the event of the day.
Once handed my key, no one offered to walk me to my room or pick up my luggage.
The corridors are really narrow, so if you're claustrophobic, that's not the best place to be.
The suite is actually a 25 sqm (270sf) bedroom with a big bed, a desk, a TV (not flat screeen), and a smallish bathroom. The only real impressive feature was the 15 sqm (160sf ) terrace overlooking the eiffel tower. This is genuinely great. Rooms are comfortable too, nice bed, nice decoration.
Room service is extremely limited. Only a few bites and standard dishes like ceasar, club sandwich etc. I asked to get the finger food from the bar, and had to insist heavily for them to bring it up. They just wouldn't. They'd rather miss on the sale (or I'd have had to have them downstairs).
Everything was sub-par: the way room service or concierge answered the phone, the way they speak to customers, wrong billing of room service, limited menu, small rooms, narrow corridors, unpleasant staff, etc.
So I'd conclude by saying: it's a good value for money if you're after a nice view, otherwise, if money is less of an object, there are better, much much better places. Try hotel de la Tremoille instead, or the Costes, you'll have a nicer time.

My husband and i took our daughter for her 21st birthday treat. We found everyone at the hotel more than helpful and willing to help from the minute we arrived. The rooms were very clean and inviting, the little touches are what made it special (turn down service and the wine and chocs) along with a laundry service. The hotel is very close to many of the main attractions however is within walking distance of most of the others. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would return on my next visit to the city. Would recommend a visit to disneyland paris which is just a 35min RER (A) train ride from the area in Paris that the hotel is situated and this drops you off at the park main gates. We found the capital clean. Most of the parisians were very pleasant a contrast from what we were told to expect. They also seemed to appreciate our small knowledge of the language.
