If you have to be in Campinas their is only one class hotel that is deceiving looking as its really a nice resort in the middle of a lot of heavy traffic... Rooms are nice pool is great ...other hotels in the city lack in comparison

Just returned from a business trip in Campinas Brazil, and utilized the beautiful acommodations at the Royal Palm hotel. The staff was very professional, and due to my inability to speak Portugese, their ability to speak English made the stay more enjoyable. Unfortunately, Sao Paulo and surrounding areas have a reputation for toughness, highlighted by an occassional irrational act of violence. The facility's visible security measures and comfortable accommodations ensured both physical and mental peacefulness. I would highly recommend this facility as a place to enjoy the cultural marvels of beautiful Campinas Brazil. Ciao

A little great santuary in the middle of the city

its a great resort in the middle of the city.. i have stayed there over 15 times over the years and its the ONLY place to stay in Campinas.... may not look so great from the outside of the walls but once you get in you are more than pleasantly surprised it has excellent rooms, great pool and as relaxing as it can be in the middle of busy city.... highly recommend it, have tried other hotels and none come even a close second to this one in Campinas...
