Once we got over the tinyness off our room we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Although there were only two off us we had to form a queue to get in the bathroom, which strangely was almost as big as the sleeping part of the room. However everything was found to be neat, tidy and clean, after an unexpected initial delay of about twenty minutes. The manager compensated us with a couple of soft drinks.
Whilst fairly basic, we found the hotel to be excellent value, as was the breakfast for 7,50 euros. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful.
Another plus was its excellent location with loads of restaurants, cafes, shops etc. right on the doorstep. It was also an easy 15 minute stroll from the Roissy airport bus stop at the Opera.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We had a recently refurbished room on the top floor, with a great view of Paris (well the roofs and the adjacent streets!).
The location is great as it is next to Rue Cadet where you will find some corner cafes, a great boulangerie (bakery) for your morning croissants, fishmongers and traditional butchers.
The LePeletier station is a short walk away and the Opera Garnier about 15minutes away.

Great location, 5 minutes from a metro station and a 10 minutes walk from the Opera and the big department stores. Nice neighborhood, with some beatiful typical parisian grocery stores and small restaurants. For an Ibis hotel, the room was quite large and the bathroom had a bathtub (!) - this was a very pleasant surprise! At the ground floor, you can find some lockers for luggage storage - this was also very handy, but plan ahead as there are not many and the demand is huge! During our last day, we woke up early in the morning in order to secure a locker, and after we have locked our luggage, we enjoyed our breakfast and took our time exploring a little more before leaving.
The best part was the staff, especially the girl at the front desk - she was so sweet, polite and willing to help! We arrived very early (@ 10:30), and since all lockers were full, we were puzzled and did not know what to do in order not to lose even hour from our exploring the city. She had a room prepared for us in 15 minutes and we checked in almost 3 hours before normal check in hour. Having experienced completely different attitudes during our other visits in Paris, this was another nice surprise.
Overall, a really nice and economic place to stay in Paris…
