On arrival at the hotel we were shocked to see two single beds as we had booked a double room. I rang reception immediately - they apologised, but said we could not be moved. About to complain further I was informed that a double room was two singles pushed together anyway!
There are no duvets on the beds, only sheets and one very worn wollen blanket (each) - hardly enough for November nights! Yes, we were freezing.
There was a heater in the room but it didn't work!
We paid for breakfast and were very disappinted to find only a cold buffet available (not worth paying for).
On a good note, the hotel itself was quiet (mid-week), pleasent and clean. The staff were polite and as helpful as they could be.

The rooms are basic which is ok at that price range. However they do not provide a proper duvet only an old woollen blanket which looked awfully. The bathroom is practical and spacious enough with a shower only - no bath tub.
The food which is offered at the restaurant is delicious however they do not offer room service. Instead you can order via phone and come downstairs to pick it up yourself. However if you don't mind that it is worthwhile as the quality of the food was a nice suprise.
I stayed at the 6th floor and had no problems with noise.
Breakfast is ok, enough for everybody with a reasonable choice.

Unhelpful, disorganised, noisy, what more can I say. We stayed 2 nights, did not get to sleep until 2/3 am because of noise from night club and floorboards above, also people running along corridors. Room was very hot, could not open window due to noise outside.
Asked for extra pillows, told to collect them ourselves. Uncomfortable beds
Complained about noise told by reception staff that it could be noisy at weekend's, no show of apology or concern.
Cost £22 to park in car park - very poor value for money, would never stay in an Ibis hotel again.

I booked on the Ibis website and got £10 off because of a deal they were running.
I found the hotel to be ok. Nothing special, but nothing bad either.
Room was nice, clean and basic. The TV worked too!
Interesting quirks. 1, To use the lift requires the room swipe card. This stops people walking in off the street. 2, you need the room card to use the electricity in the rroom (lights etc).
My only complaints are that there is no air con, so the room can get quite warm, and no-one on reception was English, so its difficult to understand their heavy East European accents.
Good value for only £34 for a double room (for the two of us)..
