Easy to get to from CDG. One change from RER to Metro and the station is a short trundle from hotel. Bathrooms are being refurbished at the moment. We were on 8th floor near top and room was very quiet. No coffee/tea making facilities in room, cross the street into the commercial centre and go downstairs to the croissant/coffee cafe, 5 euro for two coffees and two pastries.
There is good basic shopping there too..a Printemp department store and supermarket. Chinatown great for evening meals and the hotel has a tiny bar and simple ready-heat meals available 24hours. A good choice for first time visitors. We paid 91 euro per night.

Stayed here for one night. Hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the price was right. 2 rooms for around 65 euros each.Located across the street from the metro station that gets you anywhere in Paris in less than a half hour. I will never rent a car if staying in Paris again. This is not luxury but was well worth the price a safe clean place to lay your head after a long day. will definately return

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 2 week vacation to Europe. The room was much smaller than a similarly priced hotel in Barcelona, but c'est paris! We literally had no room for our 4 pieces of luggage as there is only about 2 feet of space around the bed between the walls. Lots of climbing over the bed to get to the bathroom or get out of the room.
With that said however, the desk staff were absolutely great and very helpful. They were perfectly willing to speak English with us and very capabale of doing so. They helped point me in the direction of a self-wash laundry down the street, made recommendations on getting back to the airport when we were ready to leave (saved us a ton of $$$), and talked to us about nearby restaurants. The automatic wakeup call function of the phone didn't work, so all I had to do was call the front desk and they made arrangements. Wake up calls were right on time. We also asked for two additional pillows which arrived to our room within 2-3 minutes.
Our reservation through hotwire gave us a free continental breakfast that was pretty decent. They had fresh pain au chocolat, croissants, cheese, deli meats, juice, cold cereal, yogurt, coffee, etc...
My major complaint about the hotel room was that it was very teeny and cramped inside, and my only other complaint is that the bathtub didn't drain very quickly while showering. We ended up standing in about 5-6" of water each time we showered, yuck. I was hesitant to bring this up to the desk staff as I didn't know what they would be able to do about it, and I didn't want to have to switch rooms since we were only there for 2 nights.

I recently stayed at this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Having been to Paris many times before, all I wanted was a clean, comfortable, inexpensive bed for the night in a nice, safe area of Paris. The rooms were very small but they were clean, comfortable, air conditioned and generally everything you'd expect from an Ibis hotel. We booked two rooms, each on a single occupancy basis, and one of us got a single room and the other a small double. Both were completely adequate.
The Place d'Italie area is very pleasant. There's a large shopping centre immediately opposite the hotel, complete with large supermarket and Printemps department store. There are numerous cafes and bars in the immediate vicinity and the metro station is only a couple of minutes walk away. Alternatively, the number 27 bus stops nearby too and this is a great route that goes via the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, Louvre and Opera. You can also easily walk up to Rue Mouffetard in around 15 minutes, where there are lots of restaurants and bars.
