We stayed at the Ibis in the Old Town. Lovely hotel nice and central. We were able to walk everywhere - the Old Town was about 4 mins away and The Charles Bridge about 8 minutes. Hotel was very comfy and modern and quiet. Nice breakfast up till 12oc. Rooms very clean and shower amazing and large. Hotel staff very helpful. Trams stop outside and well worth a ride you cant get lost as when you get off the tram cross over the road and get the same number tram back. We bought a days travel ticket from the underground station which is 2 mins from the hotel. We went on a nice 2 hour boat ride and we were tempted to go on the rowing boats and pedaloes on the river. Lots to do and see. Longish walk to the Castle and all uphill but you can get the tram. Local Czech food excellent and also nice pizza restaurant near the Old Town Square. Supermarket round the corner and nice restaurant next door to that with local food. Old Jewish Quarter about 10 mins walk. We used our Airmiles and they booked all our flights, hotel, transfer. We went from Terminal 5 at heathrow which was excellent and our luggage arrived ok.

I regularly use Ibis as they are a known quality. The room for this one was well above average, and I slept very well. The location is excellent for the Old Town. Allow 600 CKK from the arport. Ibis breakfasts seem to be going down market a bit though. The staff were neutral, and that's what you want.

Excellent hotel. Great location. Our opinion is that the hotel is a little bit different than other Ibis Hotel we were in. It is more luxurious. Paid in adavance on Ibis.com. at a very good fare: 70 euros/night. At the front desk was 109 euro! The parking place was very expensive: 24 euro/night.
