We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Ibis. Yes it is like other Ibis around the world, but at least you know what you are getting! Our room was quiet, very clean and quite spacious. The location is excellent - we walked everywhere and it is really easy to get to and from the airport and train stations, next to a tram stop too - we didn't get any taxis! The staff are really great, speak excellent english and were very helpful during our stay. Recommend the breakfast too, good variety, nice and fresh and plenty of it. All in all, an excellent stay and we will be returning should we go back to Krakow. Highly recommended!

Holidaying at the Ibis Krakow was fun, relaxing and brilliant. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Old Town where all the action is. All hotel staff including Manageress, Receptionists, Bar Staff and Cleaners were friendly and professional at all times. The holiday was with 11 other gents and I obtained a better rate by contacting the hotel directly by email. Getting there is easy from the Airport. Take the Bus 292 and get off at Cracovia Bus Stop. The hotel is 10 – 20 walk from there depending on your fitness and pace. The cost of the bus is 2.70 PLN as compared to 50 – 100 PLN by taxi. All rooms have power shower + toilet en suite, Air Condition, Remote controlled TV with BBC World, CNN and a Music Channel as part of the whole package. Rooms cleaned daily (Inc Sunday) with new towels. To go on the Internet you can use the free computer in reception or buy Wireless Hotspot Pass (?5.95 for 60 min) if you want to gain access using your Laptop. I had wireless connectivity in my room, which was quite good. I did not have breakfast and they don’t try to impose it on you as other hotels do in England. Hotel staff was very helpful with any kind of enquiry and gave factual info rather than tourist info which was unique. It is cheaper going to Auschwitz with your own bus (Avoid guided tour)and book this with taxi company yourself. Just ask around the hotel. It cost us 500 PLN to hire a VW bus for 8. Driver took us there and back. Will stay only at Ibis Krakow if I ever go back to the city. Thanks Bandele

Me & a friend stayed at the Ibis for 2 nights in November 07! We only wanted something basic and thats what you get. The room was clean and neat. The bathroom was relatively spacious & clean, although i think you could just about fit 2 adults in there. They have a TV too, although only about 3-4 channels are in English! The staff were very friendly, they even rang Pizza Hut for us.... & the coach tours for our trip to Auschwitz. The breakfast was nice, an array of food like meat, as well as croissants and toast, coffee tea, cereal etc........ Only downfall for me was the dinner, im a vegetarian & the menu was restricted and the hotel prices in the restaurant were a bit high for us, hence the Pizza Hut phone call!! Location was not too bad at all, about 15-20 mins away from the market square, easily done on foot! Supermarkets are across the road, roughly a 10 minute walk....in order to cross the road you need to go UNDER the bridge!! Would definately stay there again.......probably in any country!!!
