I have just returned from a lovely long weekend, staying at the SuiteHotel Lille. The hotel is spotless throughout, the reception area is extremely welcoming, with comfy seats, a bar, books, internet access etc. There is also a delicious gourmet food area with all kinds of foods available. The rooms are big! Very modern with big beds, excellent TV system on wheels so you can easily position it to watch in bed or on the sofa. There is also free access to many many movies, including the latest blockbusters at any time of day - I have never seen this in a hotel before and it was an excellent touch. The rooms were very peaceful - we did not hear a single noise from any other guests while we were there. The rooms have a lovely bathroom and seperate toilet. There is also a mini-kitchen area, with kettle, fridge and microwave [you can buy delicious meals in the gourmet food area and then microwave them if you don't feel like going out]. The hotel is also in a brilliant location in the centre of lille. We drove here and paid 30 euros for weekend parking, directly under the hotel, which was very convenient. The only thing I wiould improve is that I would have prefered more tea/coffee sachets i the rooms. They are obviously going for the 'minimalist' look, but only 1 tea-bag and 1 coffee sachet per room per day is not enough for us - so we asked for more. Overall, I totally recommend this hotel!

We booked this hotel as it comes highly recommended, having read previous reviews and we were not disappointed. It's location is great, across the road from the eurostar station and walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Check-in was easy and simple, though the receptionist must have been having an off day when we checked in, as she wasn't overly friendly. All other times the reception staff were helpful and gave us the information we needed to get about Lille. The room was an exceptionally clean, well designed, spacious room with a modern theme with everything you could need. Lille itself was a great location for a relaxing weekend, the locals were very friendly, more than expected actually which made it easier to get by. Definately worth a visit.

We spent two days in this hotel after a canal cruise, so that we appreciated the space and comfort more than usual. Smart, clean, comfortable, convenient. Staff friendly and helpful. We got a good advance booking price from the hotel group website. The breakfast buffet is too expensive at ?12, and slightly weird. There are notices in the rooms that if you dry yourself with a damp towel, they will plant a tree, but almost everything in the breakfast is individually wrapped, creating enough plastic and packaging for a small landfill site. However, the food is actually quite nice, inside all the plastic.

This hotel is in a great location for people arriving from the Eurostar. Its approximately a minute walk from the station and a short walk to Lille Central. The check in procedure was quick and easy and staff was very helpful. The room was clean and spacious with good facilities. They also offer free tea, coffee and croissants for breakfast! I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here the next time I’m in Lille.
