We stayed here with our teenage daughter and her friend just for one night thankfully! The room was basic, the bathroom is split, you have the washbasin in the main room and the toilet and tub in the bathroom. No refrigerator or coffee facilities in the room. When we came to get into bed that night, the bed felt very damp and when we woke in the morning the tiled floor in the room was wet and very dangerous. Apparently you have to have the AC on quite high to stop the floor getting wet.
We won't be visiting this 'Resort' again.

We, too stayed here on our way to Key West. We liked the reviews and the price. First off, it was clean, a definite plus. Our room was good-sized.
The room we had was on the third floor and as far from the pool as just about possible. Not the greatest but we didn't ask to change it--maybe we could have. Our internet connection was hit or miss. There was no hair dryer in the room that we could find. The coffeemaker--a necessity for us--was there but with only decaf coffee. My husband stopped at the office to get regular.
The location was fine--we knew that we really had to hunt for the actual motel from other reviewers. There were quite a few people in the pool but since we didn't want to deal with a group, we skipped it. There are restaurants very close which we appreciated. We wished that breakfast was earlier. It didn't start until 7:30 and we were well on our way before then.
It's a motel, a decent place to stay for the night.

We stayed two nights at this hotel.
The rooms size is correct, but rooms did not include a fridge.
Almost no rooms have a sea view, but there is a private access to the sea ( not the beach), a few meters from the building.
What we liked most at this hotel were:
- the bar located at the seafront, with very nice staff and views of the sunset: clients of the hotel have a 10% discount.
- the sushi restaurant located in the hotel, just in front of the reception: delicious!!

We were in Key Largo for a last minute long weekend of diving (Thursday - Mon) and wanted a place close to the dive shop we were using, Silent World.
After reading through the reviews, and being familiar with some of the other places in the area....we booked Room 402 which is upstairs in a building with one other unit overlooking the small pool and the bay. There is also a volleyball net and some kind of tetherball thingy in a sandy area by the pool, which has lots of lounges and several tables with umbrellas.
The 402 Unit: This room was not cheap (although we did get a slight discount off the rack rate-by asking for it!), but was spacious and clean with a great view. We also timed it right, as there were very few people using the pool almost the entire time we were there.
There is a weird murphy bed setup in the living room (I thought it was a bit of an eyesore to see this big beige wall thing taking up so much wall space....but it also was serving as the entertainment center as the tv and cd/dvd player were placed on shelves that were part of the murphy bed unit. We never opened it and didn't notice it after awhile! The place was furnished in typical island type rattan furniture with some nice artwork on the walls (Guy Harvey prints, etc). TV in bedroom and living room.
Plenty of stores, supermarkets etc..in the area. We were too exhausted every day after diving to think about eating at restaurants so we picked up some items at Publix and ate in the room....which has an oven, microwave, coffeemaker. Well, except for one night at Snook's, one night at the Waffle House (always good, fast and cheap!), one afternoon at Wendy's... and the Starbucks every day which, luckily, is right next door...lol. Oh, and we did drive to Key West our last night there - to hang out and see the sunset...but it's a long drive!!
The office staff was friendly, no complaints there. Plenty of towels in bathroom along with complimentary soaps and shampoos and built-in hairdryer. Lots of hot water with good water pressure. Bed was comfortable. The housekeeping staff did a good job keeping room clean. They are also very creative in how they arrange/fold the towels, washclothes and even the toilet paper that hangs on the roll!
Our view was beautiful - overlooking the bay, with great sunsets every night. There really is no beach...just a sandy area between two jetties, but we were diving everyday so had no desire to lay on a beach!
Never made it down to the office for the continental breakfast but we did have dinner at Snook's on Thursday night, which is right next to the hotel on the canal. The fried shrimp were very good, but the big salad with shrimp was disappointing...lots of greens but where were the shrimp!
Drinks were nothing special....actually didn't like the chocolate martini and didn't finish it! Got a discount on the price of dinner by showing our room key....Was a bit worried that there would be alot of noise all night...but Snook's does a busy happy hour and is pretty much done for the night by 10:30 -11:00 pm... even on weekends!
All in all, the "resort" (it's really a motel in my opinion) is located in a commercial area - but once you are there and sit by the pool and bay, surrounded by the lovely greenery....you forget all about the traffic on Hwy 1!
My recommendation is ...if you can afford to book rooms 401 or 402 and don't care about swimming from a beach and are looking for a quiet place to stay...go for it!
