We stayed at the Oaks Plaza Pier in a one-bedroom apartment and had a great time.
The apartment was clean, modern and had a great view. Staff were friendly.
There were multiple dining choices on the ground floor, all providing Room Service.
Other guests have made negative remarks on this site, but I found them all to be entirely unjustified. We had a sensational stay.

I just could not believe the service I got was from a 4-star hotel , cold and very much improfessional. they dont value customers at all . they just dont care .
Surprised this 4-star hotel hired these rude and low-quality staffs.

I just wanted to write a special thanks for the help that the staff at this hotel offered to me. I accidently left my laptop at the front desk when I checked out. When I got to the airport I became frantic when I could not find it. I telephoned the hotel and an American/Canadian??? person answered the telephone. I explained the situation, and he said that the bag was there at the desk. I did not have enough time to go back to the hotel to get it, and asked if it could be shipped. The man at the hotel did something I did not expect, he found a taxi and arranged for it to be sent to the airport where I met it and paid the driver for delivering it. The hotel found the taxi, gave him my number and he got the drivers number and it was a fantastic end to a fantastic trip!!! Great hotel, Great location and the world's best staff!

Booked 2x 2 bedroom rooms for birthday celebration base..tried Wotif but could get same price on the Oaks website. Couldn't get sea-view....LUCKY as it was 40 degrees and would have copped the full brunt of the afternoon sun!!!
Had rooms 425 and 525 and they had stunning, shaded views over the Holdfast Shores area right down to West Beach...made for a great happy hour spot...rooms had 2 double beds (they dont do single beds/rollaways) dishwasher, washing machine - amazing....great for a family.....
Small 'wear' issues (like CD player not working, Iron broken) and some odd prints on the walls but other than that most impressed.
Had trouble sleeping as it was a Sunday night of a long weekend and quite loud outside (bars/clubs patrons on closing)but we figured this was they payoff for the view....
