Lousy
Guest name: Midcodiving, Rapid City
Here for a conference......... Traveling/working on business. Very outdated..... Food is mediocre. Room service is bland but affordable. This could be a great place if they would spend some money to update. Entire place smells of smoke. Beds are old and shaped like a tortilla chip. Water leaks galore. Seems like the place is stuck in a Time Warp. Will advise the people who put this conference on (WRWA) to move on. I will not stay here again. If your here on business, WIFI is spotty at best. Very frustrating to try and get any work done.......I look and depend on good computer service, and this place fell way short of competent....................

They smoke in the building, the pool was over chlorinated, and it was run-down. There are better places to stay in the Casper area.

This place is a grim reminder of why you have the best chance of a decent night's rest with a chain. While the place was a musty, smoky, smelly, dirty mess, the people were very, very nice. This is really a place for the people who checked in before I did; bikers as old and grizzled as the beds, the walls and the carpet. This place wasn't just old and in need of upgrade (or, demolition), this place is SCARY. The denizens of the deep that stay in this place are chracatures of people that appear in horror movies---the slasher, killer kind. I couldn't wait to flee this dive.
Run, do not walk from this place. Sleep in your car--or standing up under a lamp post--before you stay here

Loved the Mini Golf

I loved my stay at the Parkway Plaza Hotel; it is a great place to take your family. They have a mini golf course around back, which is very convienent, and it is also has very good ice cream. They also have a cafe which serves quite a variety of foods. There is an indoor pool that leads out to a large courtyard. The part I liked the most was that the hot tub was in a separate area, away from playful kids in the pool area, which was very relaxing. My room was also very clean, and when we had ran out of towels the staff was very efficient about getting us more. I will definitely be staying here on my next trip through casper!!

I was quoted a rate of $50.00 a night. I made two reservations and was given a confirmation number for each.
When I arrived at Parkway Plaza to check in, the Desk Clerk informed me that he couldn’t give me the rate and that it was to be increased to $95.00 per night. I asked to speak to the Manager.
When the manager arrived, I explained I had driven all the way from San Jose, CA, to Casper, WY, and was being told that my rate was almost doubled. The Manager, Svenn (not sure of the spelling), said I wouldn’t get a room unless I was willing to pay the higher rate.
