I spent 3 days there in mid July and was surprised to find major construction and remodeling throughout the resort that was not advertised at time of booking. Our first room had issues with the bathtub draining properly and a noisy hum coming from the air conditioner. Our second room had the tub shower handle hanging loosely around the valve. It was hard to enjoy the pool with the noise coming from the construction site. They also closed the majority of the parking lot for access only to the construction crew. What a major pain!!! On top of all this, they tried to get us to pay an extra $10 per day "resort fee", which we ended up not paying.
If you want peace and quiet, stay away from this hotel until all construction is finished, which by the looks of things may be months.

Noisy and messy constuction everywhere, limited parking, guest services in semi-converted resort rooms. Told would be done sept 30, 2008.
The room was nice it had a full kitchen however some of the appliance, cooking utensils, pots and pans (very over used and abused) left much to be desired. I heard one guest outside complaining when they arrived the room smelled of animal urine with a big stain on the carpet. The staff leaves much to be desired the house keepers do not speak english and ignore guest when they ask questions or want items left alone, the bell man are great, the restaurant is ok depends on your personal taste and what you order, the office staff can be great at times and other times make you feel like they could care less about any guest even when the complaint is valid.

The hotel snuck in a daily "resort fee" and taxes when I checked out. When I questioned the fee at checkout, the attendant said it was a problem but there was nothing he could do. I e-mailed the hotel later, but they just dismissed it and said that the fee was disclosed, and it was Orbitz's fault anyway. Really put a huge damper on my stay.

When you drive up to the property you can tell that it used to be an apartment complex that was renovated into a hotel. We checked in with no problems.
We stayed in a room with two beds, which we were told that they were queens...They were double beds. The room was fairly clean. The only complaint was the carpets were very dirty. Our feet were black from walking on the carpets. I would have also like to have a refrigerator and a microwave. AND, the rooms had a musty smell.
Our balcony was in front of the pool, which was very nice. They have four pools - a huge pool, an adult pool, a social pool and one by Gordon's. The food was good. We ordered room service, and ate there. Kids under 5 eat free for breakfast.
Overall, I feel it was a nice hotel. If you are looking for a Resort this is NOT one. We payed a decent price, only $10 over what we would have paid for a motel 6 in the area. I don't think I would pay anymore for a night.

I recently attended an insurance meeting held at this resort. I was surprised at how quiet and serene the resort was, despite apparently being "sold out". My suite was newly renovated, with all new furnishings and big flat screen tvs. The concierge was outstanding and made a reservation for some of us at a great nearby restaurant and the shuttle took us right over to it. There were also some great pools to spend time at during our off time. The staff was very friendly and I plan on returning on my own dime sometime soon.
