Stayed in the hotel for 7 days in June on holiday. Like other peoples reviews taxi's seem to have trouble finding the hotel. Hotel and rooms kept really clean and tidy but make sure to ask for extra pillows, only draw back on the room was that there is only 1 english channel CNN. Hotel in good location away from all the noise. We walked to the centre each day which took about 15mins plus you get too see where some of the resturants are, because despite some of the reviews there are great resturants around the hotels streets you just have to explore, espically the itallian cio bella a few blocks along from the hotel on Carrer de Mallorca heading towards the city. In all a great hotel very stylish but maybe not a 4 star.

Nuestra llegada al hotel fue somo sigue: yo:"buenos dias" dos recepcionistas, un hombre y una mujer, ocupados en otras cosas, con la mirada fija bajo el mostrador, respuesta: (silencio). yo: ejem, tengo una reserva... ellos: (silencio) yo:.. a nombre tal (les acerco copia de la confirmación)... ellos: (sin mirarme y en silencio, recogen el papel) yo: ... ellos: (siempre sin levantar la cabeza): un dni! yo: aqui tienen un documento... ellos: (sin mirarme) una targeta de crédito! yo: aquí tiene... disponen de parking? ellos: (la mujer levanta la cabeza por primera vez, tiene unos ojos preciosos, por cierto): vete aparcando mientrastanto... Esta es el "cordial" y profesional recibimiento que ofrecen en este hotel. Pero la escena siguió: (regresamos a recepción, tras aparcar) ella: pero cómo, son 2 personas?! yo: la reserva lo dice bien claro! ella: si, pero a veces hay reservas de 2 personas que son 1. yo: ... (pienso, pero que dice? esta majara?) Y sigue: (habitación apestando a tabaco) yo: en la reserva pedí una habitación no fumador ella: la habitación es no fumador, pero claro, la gente fuma... yo:... con aires condescendientes, nos asigna "otra" habitación no fumador, que esta vez no apesta (ni tampoco tiene ceniceros, como la otra). Por lo demás: habitación de tamaño medio, con baño espacioso y bien equipado. La decoración funcional y sin gracia. Camas no muy cómodas, con sábanas bastante gastadas. Nos chocó el mal estado de la decoración, siendo un hotel tan nuevo. Atención: el aire acondicionado funciona muy mal, ruidoso y poco potente. El hotel está bastante alejado de todo, en un barrio tranquilo, de clase media. En honor a la verdad, en la salida nos atenció otro recepcionista, esta vez muy amable, profesional y discreto. Aún así, no aconsejamos este establecimiento.
