My mother and I had a very nice stay at this hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, and had many amenities including robes and slippers, very good tea, and internet access. I also used their pool, which was very clean and big enough for doing laps. The breakfast offered many options, including lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola. The hotel has two restaurants; our local tour guide told us that the authentic Chinese restaurant (as opposed to the western-style restaurant) has some of the best food in town, but it was completely booked so we weren't able to get a table. The other restaurant was adequate. All in all we had a very nice stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a China tour.
The rooms all lead off quite long corridors but are adequate although have been well used. The cleanliness is of a high standard, rooms contain tea/coffee making, fridge/mini bar, drinking water supplied, safe, shoe shine, TV and all the usual stuff.
The bathroom was a little small, but the shower was powerful and had loads of freebies too.
There is a swimming pool, but be prepared for a walk to the end of one of the ground floor corridors past a lot of rooms.
Dining facilities are good, breakfast and dinner served as buffet and had lots of dishes to choose from.
The location is a good bit from the centre but there are a fair selection of shops to keep you topped up with drinks and snacks, also quitre a few ATMs nearby too.
Overall not a bad hotel and although it is on a busy road there are reasonable gardens surrounding the rooms.

This hotel has English plug sockets so no need for travel adaptors. Our room looked out onto the lake as did the bar. Happy hour between 6 and 8 pm. Had a superb meal for all 16 of us in an upstairs room. One large table to celebrate a couples silver wedding. Some shopping in hotel including a reasonably pricedshop selling beers and soft drinks.Comfy and clean hotel. Goodbreakfast.Only here for two nights so didn't explore much outside the hotel on foot. Everything in the bedroom was for sale.

Didn't take my breath away but absolutely no complaints.
It is a basically safe and clean hotel, not particularly well located although there are some shops and food places near by.
The staff were all freindly and helpful with reasonable English and my room was of a reasonable size although maybe a little tired looking, however this is often the case when requiring a smoking room.
There is a bar downstairs in the lobby and a couple of restaurants. The buffet room serves up a hearty breakfast whether you fancy going Chinese or something a little more familiar and it over looks the small lake and garden which is very pretty.
The restaurant upstairs serves very good food and provided me with one of the best veggie meals that I had during my hole trip to China. Often you will just get some bland vegetable dishes and plain rice that fills a hole but doesn't excite the taste buds. Not the case here...it was all delicious.
Perfectly good hotel, no complaints.

Booked through elong for 460Rmb a night for a double without breakfast.
No complaints about the hotel, although whether it really deserves 4 stars from me is debateable - however 3 stars would be too harsh.
Location is ok, although could be a little more central. About 15 minutes walk from Shiquan Jie - which has a range of restaurants including Yangyang Shuijiaoguan which has excellent dumplings. Also close to Garden of the Master of the Nets, and Blue Wave Pavilion is a little further.
Free broadband internet in the room is nice. Reception is fine - left money with them to pay for flight tickets ordered through elong without problems.
Room is very clean and comfortable, although air con is very cold, and the only control is to turn it off.
Also the hotel is popular with tour groups (British while we were there). That means early wake up calls and in our case, drunk Brits returning late at night.
Overall, a hotel with no problems, but not much character either.
