This hotel is convieniently situation within a few minutes walk of the town centre. It is well sign posted and has a decent sized car park. The receptionist was very polite and helpful, carrying some of my luggage for me when I was clearly overloaded. I stayed with two cats and they were welcomed with no problems. The room was clean and well furnished with 2 chairs as well as a roomy wardrobe and dessing table. The bathroom was very clean and toiletries were provided. The bed was very comfortable, with extra pillows provided, and I slept very well. There is no evening bar or food service, but there are arrangements in place with local resturants where a discount is available. Takeaway menus are provided in the reception area. The breakfast was of a reasonable quality and plenty of it. Waitress staff were very polite and attentive. I would not hesitate to book again. Not palatial, but good value and excellently placed for town.

I booked my room with a little apprehention after reading the only review on trip advisor, but upon arrival was very pleasently suprised to be greated in a very warm efficient manner by the helpfull receptionist. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff at this hotel. My room was warm & clean, my bed comfy and plenty of shampoo's and shower gel to hand. Lovely towels and lots of them. The breakfast was very good as was the service by polite smiling staff. The town of Market Harborough is a little gem to walk around and just a few minutes stroll away from the hotel. In all there is nothing wrong with this hotel and the smell of fresh flowers in recption as well as on the tables was very pleasent. I would recomend to anyone and I will certainly be going again when next in the area.

Well not the nicest of hotels. Arrived when they had a terrible smell in the reception area and were trying to mask it. The room was Ok. Luckily I had taken shampoo etc otherwise none was provided. Breakfast was like in a canteen. they couldn't even provide me with lemon and hot water. The hotel was full of Americans and I felt sorry for them seeing hotels like this, Who had ever put that one on their itinery. I could have done lots better.
