Not for families

Me and my 5 year old son had to stay at this hotel for 5 days after he was hospitalised while we were on holiday, my husband had to return home and i was there on my own. The reception is lovely and the receptionists are nice but apart from that not many of the staff spoke to us.There was nothing for my little boy to do as he couldnt go in the pool. It was very expensive to eat there and not that much choice, luckly it was airconditioned as we spent most of the day in the room because it was too hot to go out. The room was very clean and spacious there was a mini bar but u had to pay for anything u had.Not very many english speaking people there. Mainly for business people as there is a conference centre next door.

I stayed alone for one night, my wife was hospitalized and this was the first hotel I found at random!
Lucky me, a western (American) quality hotel, spacious room, very clean and fully airconditioned.
Price was 87Euro without any discount.
The service was excelent, parking vallae, bell boy, night staff.
Nice stay at the Talya

I needed to attend a conference in Antalya, Turkey. The Antalya was chosen for the stay as this was where the conference was being held.
The hotel is a five star and certainly the prices at the bar refelected that! The hotel is built on a cliff and has it's own "beach". This is actually two concrete plinths built into the cliff where there are deck chairs, umbrellas and all the other bits and pieces that you find on a beach except for the sand! The beach is reached with a lift which makes life easier. I'm not much of a water person, but one of the other guys in our party is and enjoyed his morning swims!
The rooms generally have a view of the ocean while mine had a view of the pool as well. A generously sized balcony made for some pleasant viewing. The rooms are okay but not really deserving of five stars. The bathroom was clean and tidy with hot showers always available.
Breakfasts were okay if a little boring as it is pretty much the same buffet every day but there is lots of different dishes. Dinners are also a buffet and is not too bad. However I always like to eat out as you get a chance to taste the real thing! The Talya is walking distance to many other eating and shopping places including the old quarter. The old quarter and harbour is a must visit for anybody visiting the area.
In summary, not a bad stay but I would not stay there if I were paying as there are many other better value options.
Great hotel

Great hotel. Current deal for this year is 50 euros (+8e vat) a night on their 50 year anniversary excluding food. Hotel is clean, staff are very professional and the sunday garden brunch is fantastic. Can't recommend this hotel enough. Booked this through Opodo.
Can not fault this hotel, its perfect!

Having just returned from a weeks stay in this hotel, I can honestly say that I have no complaints.
The location is great, it is near everything. The food is good, and eating out in turkey is very cheap.
The staff at this hotel is extremely helpful, especially Emere, he helped us in so many ways, and often went beyond what he needed to do. I recommend that you speak to him if you need any advice whilst staying here.
The hotel is clean, the housekeeping is perfect and everything is well maintained.
The pool area is great, there are lots of sun beds and towels are supplied, also there is a private beach.
The views from the hotel are beautiful; I really can’t recommend this hotel enough.
One thing I will say is that there are not many English people in Antalya, this at times can be hard as compared to other resorts I have visited the general standard of English is poor. (Not in the hotel). There are allot of Russians and Germans in Antalya, and whilst its nice to be amongst different people, it can also make you feel a little isolated at times, also it can be a struggle when your out especially in taxis and at restaurants (but don’t this put you off too much).
The taxis are all on metres, which are great so there is, no need to haggle about prices!
I must thank a previous review for recommending secret garden restaurant. However I warn you must ask to go to GIZLI BAHCE this is the Turkish name, we spent ages to no avail asking for secret garden!! . It’s next to ALLY'S club, which everybody knows. The is the most amazing restaurant in everyway, this is a MUST, I cant stress it enough. I had the secret garden kebab, it was so delicious! You must must must go there! Its more expensive than other places but not by English standards.
Beach Park is worth a visit, as is Lara beach, both a short taxi ride away.
Now on to my only negative point. We booked on three tours through a company that the hotel use (although they have now told me that will be no longer using them) called MEVLANA TOURS. Don’t do it! To cut a long story short they offer you things you just don’t get, the trips are so boring and you do not do what they say you will. DO NOT GO ON TOURS WITH THESE PEOPLE PLEASE. Also none of the transportation vehicles have seatbelts.
The aqua park (aqua land is the best one) is ok, I would say only go if you have kids to be honest.
Migros shopping centre is nice, but to be honest I found shops such as zara and mango if not the same price a little more expensive.
If you want to go clubbing visit ALLY'S club, this also has a restraint.
Antalya is a very up market resort, (in comparison to some others), we were there when the bomb went off and its a shame this might affect tourism. Its not very busy in Antalya, well it wasn’t when we were there, its nice as nothing is over crowded.
Women beware that men seem to stare a little too much, even when you are with a man, it becomes annoying.
The Divan Talya hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Antalya, I highly recommend it.
