I booked 2 double rooms for one night in Geneva. The second room was for my parents at the end of our lovely tour of Switzerland. I booked this hotel because the hotel website makes the hotel look clean and in a good part of town. Well it is not clean and it is in the red light district complete with drug dealers and prostitutes. Within 2 blocks of the lake it became this terrible neighborhood. We went inside to check the rooms and they were a big disappointment. Dingy, sagging beds, old fabrics, and smelly. Do they rent these rooms by the hour too? Seemed very plausible. Staying here -even for one night- would have been a depressing part of the trip, fortunately we canceled our booking on the spot - we even had to eat the cost of one night for one room. It was worth it, since I'd never want to stay there even if they paid me to. Be forewarned weary traveler!! This hotel may look ok on the website, and the price might be affordable, but don't be fooled.

We booked with the Nash Ville through Easyjet - we were aware of the hotels location within the red light district so we were not surprised by it.
The hotel is nice and clean - the room was a bit small and didn't have any tea/coffee facilities. It had air conditioning which we turned on at night time so we did not hear anything from the street below even though we were at the front of the hotel.
The tv didn't have all the channels as were suggested on the guide - but we were able to watch english language shows on the Arabic channels so it wasn't a problem.
The location is great - so close to the train station as well as the lake. I was a bit worried after reading the reviews on here about the red light district - but there was nothing to worry about!! You only need to walk about 100 meters and you are in the more touristy areas. I saw elderly couples wandering down the street without a problem.
I would recommend this for short stays only. The room really is too basic for anything longer.

pay attention this is not a 4 stars hotel!!! you will throw your money away by staying here.
the worst thing ever is that in two different days my room and the one of my collegue were both not cleaned; can you immagine after 9 hours working coming back in hotel tire and finding out that your room is still in a mess!! I immediatelly complained at the reception.. After checking, the following day I was told that according to their electronic system the room was cleaned and that probably someone entered my room after that it was cleaned and put everything in a mess.. I have never heard such a big lie in my life!! The truth is that I found my bed and the bathroom exactly in the same conditions as I left them the morning; the staff is not professional and rude and the hotel is the the light red area of geneva. Due to the noise you can hardly sleep in the night!

Four of us stayed in this hotel for one night during a weekend stay in Geneva. The rooms were clean and we found the reception staff helpful though not particularly friendly. My husband heard a lot of noise outside in the early hours of the morning but I fortunately slept through it (as I often do).
This hotel was ideal for our short stay in Geneva and after reading the trip advisor reviews I was aware of the red light situation but failed to spot any prostitutes (yes, I was looking and yes, I'm probably nieve).
Anyway, would recommend as it has nice clean rooms, it's very close to the centre and it was a good price. We paid ?42 for a double room.
