Incredibly noisy if you are in a room facing the street. Too hot to close the windows, and no A/C. Do NOT stay here in the summer; or if you do, do NOT stay in a room facing the street. Hotel staff was not very helpful. Very expensive and we could not sleep for either of our two nights there!

My husband and I travelled to Bergen just before X-mas. We expected Norway to be very expensive, however we were pleasantly surprised by the rates and the quality Hotel Bristol offered. The public areas are very stylish and the rooms are nicely decorated (reception told it they had plans of rennovating the rooms to an even better standard in January!). The hotel's Egon Restaurant (a Norwegian restaurant chain) served quality food in nice surrounding. This is definitely a hotel we will recommend to friends and family as it is also located in the middle of the city centre!

Good staff, good location, (great for walking around the city), restaurants nearby. But like everything in Norway, it was expensive. Our room was a bit stuffy in the evenings with no air conditioning.

El hotel Bristol Bergen está muy bien situado , justo al lado del puerto en la calle peatonal principal y hasta aquí lo mejor que puedo decir del hotel, moqueta en el suelo (en Escandinavia es que no te libras), el suelo del todo el baño y el de la ducha es uno (muy nórdico también, pero ya te obliga a ducharte con chanclas), el desayuno es básico y el restaurante donde lo dan se queda muy pequeño produciéndose unas colas de espanto, no se habla español , el inglés hablado es bueno, la recepción del hotel se la podían haber ahorrado ya que no resuelve problemas , incluso los crea (también muy noruego, no he visto cosa igual ). El mantenimiento del hotel es pobre, puedes encontrarte lámparas sin bombilla, o alógenos que no encienden, cortinas rasgadas ó que la calefacción no funciona, (este detalle en julio es incomodo, en invierno es cuestión de supervivencia) ningún detalle de estos hace inhabitable una habitación pero si muy incómoda, es una pena que un hotel tan bien situado se pierda por falta de mantenimiento y desdén. En españa sería un hotel de tres estrellas bien situado y mal cuidado.
