My husband and I stayed at the Embarcadero when we were travelling in Oregon. When we first saw our room, we were stunned by the breathtaking view. This was the only good thing at this resort. When I went to take a shower, there was mold all over the bathroom. The shower did not drain properly and I was left standing in a puddle of dirty water. My husband phoned the desk twice about this and it was never repaired. We found the room very noisy and could hear everything from surrounding rooms.
We woke up the next morning to the sound of loud hammering and construction above us. When we phoned the desk, we were told that the condo above us was being renovated. This was a Saturday morning and they were doing loud construction! We asked for another room. We were eventually given another room but it was also noisy. We were so glad to check out the next day. i would never stay there again even if it was free. What a terrible place!

Our arrival and check-in was without a hitch. We drove up, walked in to the registration desk, filled out the registration form, and within 10 minutes we were walking in the door of our timeshare. We found the timeshare all prepared for our week-long stay, and there was a beautiful view of the Yaquina Bay & Marina, the Yaquina Bridge which is very impressive, plus a view of the Pacific Ocean under the bridge. Within 45 minutes of check-in we received a call from Heather at the front desk confirming that everything met our expectations, which it did. For the entire week, we were able to park right outside our door. I admit that this was off-season, and the resort was not any where near capacity. The “Bridges Restaurant” in the resort is convenient, however, best meal we had all week (Salmon Dinner) and the worst meal (fish & chips) we had all week was at the “Bridges”. Georgie’s Restaurant in Newport, and on the beach is a nice friendly place to eat with a view of the Pacific Ocean. The Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City, (22 miles) and the Three Rivers Casino in Florence, (50 miles) are fun times. The Tidal Waves Restaurant in Depot Bay is another must do! The State of Oregon provides pullouts & parking areas at every viewpoint and beach location, A drive in any direction up or down Highway 101 is full of scenic views.

Comments:
If you are looking for a “FOUR SEASONS” or “5-STAR” timeshare, this is probably not the place for you. However, if you ARE looking for a nice comfortable, spacious, clean, quiet, convenient to everything, timeshare with a view, and staff that is eager to please. On-going updates & renovations to the exterior and interior of the resort.

We were just passing through town and picked this hotel because it's in an out-of-the-way location away from the highway. It has a nice view of the harbor. The room was spacious. However, it's incredibly dated -- dated decor, old carpet, worn paint on the doors, etc. For us, it was OK for a place to spend the night as we were passing through, but I'd be really disappointed if I actually was going to spend any significant time in this hotel. Need a remodel, badly.

The best thing about the Hotel was leaving!

We stayed there for 5 days while meeting with family for Easter.
Upon arrival there was an error with the reservation and they wanted to charge us 3 times the amount quoted online. Fortunately, I printed the receipt and the Manager was contacted and it was settled. I would have NEVER paid the rack rate for the accommodations or should I say lack of.
The room was musty, the rug aged and covered with bleach stains, and furniture needs MAJOR updating. The sofa had a tear in the seat cover. I was afraid to even sit down!
Our balcony furniture was old, dirty and dated. Also, to our surprise there was 'dog poop' on the balcony and a dog bone!
On the upside, the view from the balcony was to die for. The maid service, did come daily... they make nice seashells with the towels. The grounds are well maintained. Coffee was not refilled daily, nor did we have a microwave and fridge, as stated on their website.
I would rate the Hotel 1 star and I would not stay there again. Rack rates are too high for quality of Hotel.
Tip: There is a new Hotel beside it, I think called The Landing, which I wish we would have booked.
Nice views and not much else.

Great views, fairly attentive and cooperative staff, grungy rooms and neglected grounds need attention. Restaurant was a huge disappointment.
