Not a 4 star hotel....

During the summer I had a problem with the rate of the hotel. I booked it at a much higher rate than what is worth because of the World Cup. Not only management did nothing to solve this, the problem was the overall negative attitude of the staff. I understand when sometimes you it is out of your hands to solve a problem but I think the attitude towards the guest makes the difference. The Hotel is a 3 star hotel and a good one if you pay a low rate and not the 200 Euros + I paid with my group.

Desolato e deprimente.

I spend a month in germany in hotels ranging from $250-$350 Euros. Without a doubt the Sorat was the worst of all. I will rate this hotel as a 3 star hotel to go with friends, I will be willing to spend $100 Euros not a cent more. The hotel is far from the dusseldorf movement, so you spend a lot in taxis. I was really shock with the infraestructure, it is a really small hotel, rooms are normal size but as I told before it is 3 star hotel and noone should pay more than 100 e at the most. If you plan to go with friends on a low budget definelelty go to the sorat. If you are going with your family or classy people NEVER go to the Sorat, My father and his friends are still a little mad with me for making them pay $250 euros for that hotel. They travel a lot to the finest hotels, and they felt it was a joke. Only plus to teh sorat is it has free wireless internet.!!!

I could not agree more with the previous review. This place is no more than a 2 to 3 star hotel. They really misrepresent themselves on the internet and play up minor amenities like "wake-up-call" and "make-up mirror". I was there for 3 days and things were constantly breaking. It is also totally removed from anything intereresting in the city. Average pizza and dicey asian food is about all you will find nearby.
Also, rooms are loud with the trolley roaring by at all hours.
On the other hand the free internet is a big selling point. If more hotels had this feature then places like the Sorat would actually have to try a little harder.
The breakfast was good. I have to confess they served some of the best bacon I have ever had. The downside was I had a stomach ache all day.
I couldn't wait to check out. Desolate and depressing.
