I can't say enough positive about this little gem. The many positive reviews caught my eye when considering a quick pop over to Ft. Lauderdale from Naples to see friends. They're all true. Mick and his team are the epitome of hospitality. As a former hotelier, I'm typically leery of the hype of "family run" or "quaint" hotels as it usually ends up being an excuse for bumbling or something worse. Not here. Rooms are perfect for a medium-length trip; coffee and newspapers outside every day; even the room attendants are delightful which tells me they enjoy being part of Mick's crew. Little tip - he has wireless internet if you want to bring your laptop or link up via your iPhone. Just ask him, he's unfailingly courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.

We stayed here the night before our cruise and it was ideal. We wish we could have stayed longer. Mick and his staff were excellent and fun to be around. Like the other reviews before said, this is a unique hotel that is well maintained in a great location. Have no fear they will take care of you.

Excellent location to beach, shopping and eats. The hotel is lush with foliage, clean and neat. Unique with artistic touches all around. A real gem! Our daughter was married at the Atlantic Hotel and this was the perfect place to stay for ourselves and other out of town guests, all from Michigan. It is affordable with many room choices. We stayed in an efficiency which was great with everyone coming and going. We just got home and we already miss it! Can't wait till next time!!

Just wanted to say something about the people who own this resort. I had reservations with them for Dec. and had paid for the first night. Then I lost my job. I contacted Mick and he couldnt have been more understanding and promptly refunded my money while showing genuine human compassion in his e mails. I cant wait to stay here the next time I cruise from Ft. Lauderdale, Thank You TropiRock!
