The hotel was advertised as a 4 star hotel but they must be joking....the room was dirty...so i asked for another and it was bigger but still dirty!
As for the showers...the shower heads weren't adjustable and i am 6 foot tall (1.8m) so i'm hardly a freak of nature but i had to crouch down just to take a shower!! Never in all my life have i experienced this...
The location is good but AVOID THIS PLACE. It is NOT 4 star quality and should not be advertised as such. I think there must be a very lax hotel star rating.

My boyfriend and I were only in Rome for two days from the 28th Sept 07 and wanted the best possible location to see everything. We definitely picked the right hotel. Within 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They gave us great advice on how best to plan our two days. The room was huge. We couldn't believe it. The bathroom was very clean. Towels were changed every day. We really couldn't have asked for anywhere better. Would definitly recommend this hotel for its location, cleanliness and reasonably price.

We have booked this hotel last minute and this was the only hotel that we can find near historic center. The location was OK, near to common sites.
But, when we entered the hotel, we faced with a long que of people waiting to be checked in. The receptionist was working hard but there should be more people working on the reception desk, not just one.
The hotel is really old! the reception area was small and feels like you were in 80's.The elevators were also old and we had some problems so if you have children, you should be carefull.
The room was small, and also feels like 80's. The bathroom was big but old again, with a shower curtain that seems to be there for ages. The bathrooms must be renewed immediately.
Although the room was clean and the room service was doing a good jod, I felt that the room was dirty since the room was old.
The brakfast was worst ever in Italy.
We have paid 150 euros per room / per night. But there was a list in the reception and we saw the prices vary from 40 Euros to 200 Euros for the same rooms for the same night. Compared to the quality of the service and the rooms the real worth of the stay should not be more than 60 euros per day.
I do not recommend this hotel if you are supposed to pay more than 60 Euros per day.
