My friend and I were looking for a cheap all inclusive deal with plenty of sunshine. The hotel was really nice. Clean rooms and the reception are was spotless. Meals were good and plenty of variety. The pool are was clean and tidy too. Entertainment was varied but good none the less.
If you are looking for a quiet hotel to relax and enjoy the sun then this is the ideal palce for you.
never again

On arriving from palma journey from hell it took less time travelling to the dominican than majorca. Hotel 3star your having a laugh possibly 1,rooms pre 70,s no air con, view from balcony burger king, extra freinds in the room,s i.e. cockroaches take some clingfilm with you to cover up the service shaft in the bathroom were they come out of Food disgusting cold and bland try the soup there is probably less salt in the sea,the best must be the pigs trotters deep joy i don,t think.Entertainment rubbish although staff try their best with limited resources, pool o.k. but swim in the morning before all the drink,s cups and sweet wrappers are in there.Beach down the road if you can get on it o.k. wear footwear though because all the cigarette ends get between your toes. All in all this place is the pits but the sun was shining.

I booked the Samoa hotel, on arrival at 2am I was told my room was broken and would have to stay at their sister hotel Club Eurocalas for the night and my room would be ready for 12 noon , as we were very tired and I had my six year old grandson with me I did not make a fuss and accepted that these things do happen and I was assured this was for one night and we could return in the morning. On arrival at the Club Eurocalas I was told we were there for the week! I was not impressed and advised the reception that I would sort out in the morning. After breakfast I went to the reception and asked what time the taxi was coming to take us back to the Samoa hotel, I was told again no I was here for the week, to say the least I was not happy and demanded to speak to the Samoa hotel, which the receptionist called and I spoke to their reception, they advised that they did not have a room but maybe they would have a cancellation in a couple of days! In the meantime I could have an appartment at the Eurocalas. My reservation for the Samoa was confirmed in March 2008, I had not been advised before hand that the hotel was fully booked and given the option to change hotel with a choice? It is not acceptable to have this thrown at me and my family in the early hours of the morning on arrival. I chose the Samoa as it was near the beach. The Club Eurocalas is a perfectly acceptable 3 star hotel, but this is not what I booked. The Eurocalas would not upgrade us to an appartment unless I accepted that we would stay for the week with them, this is a black mail tool that they used. What could I do? I had my grandson with me and my friend, this is our only holiday this year, was it worth getting myself upset and spoiling our holiday, all we wanted to do was unpack, go and lie in the sun and enjoy our holiday. I accepted the upgrade to the appartment and use of the saftey deposit box. I am dissapointed that we did not stay at the Samoa. if I wanted to stay elsewhere I would of booked it. The receptionist at the Samoa told us a pack of lies, I can only assume that 'your room is broken' in spanish means 'we are over booked and we have no room for you' We later found that we were not the only family they done this to that week and maybe other times. SO BE AWARE YOU MAY NOT STAY WHERE YOU BOOKED
