Overall it was just OK! We were expecting one of the modern rooms and little did we know that we were getting one of the older suite rooms filled with toille. The room was old fashioned which was FINE but the furniture was old and worn- especially the bathroom- the grouting was old and needed to be replaced! Old style tub etc.
Hotel staff was ok... minus one lady who simply looked really mean and unfriendly!
The gym was closed for renovations.. BUMMER.
Location was good.. close to metro.

Loved everything about the Jules. We stayed in room 412, it was a bit small but had everthing we needed. The room has been renovated. We had a view onto Rue La Fayette which was great each morning to remind you that you were in Paris.
The staff were always helpful and spoke very good English. I had phoned ahead that day to arrange a transfer and nothing was a problem for Claude and his team.
Definitely would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights in May. While the room was incredibly small it was immaculate. The mattress on the bed was the best I have ever slept on and at least it was a queen size bed. We were on the second floor on Lafayette street and when the window was open it was very noisy but when we closed it we could not hear the street at all. The bathroom was large and also very clean. We found the staff very helpful. We did not purchase the optional breakfast as we found it quite pricey. The location was very good, by two metro stations. We often walked down to the Opera area for dinner. We certainly would stay here again as it was very clean and comfortable.

I booked this hotel through the travel agency managed by my travel credit card. I was a little hesitant but at the end I decided to go for it, the price of the room (including breakfast) convinced me of doing so. I am glad I did it. The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station, so it is easy to get to/from the airport using public transportation. The room was small, very small, but nice and clean. I was also delighted by their breakfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again, I just will make sure to get a bigger room.
