The Dedeman Konya Hotel is a superb hotel. I stayed at the hotel as part of a Gate1 tour. The room was great and the bathroom was large and very clean. I was on the 12th floor, and had a nice view of Konya. The bedding was very comfortable, and tou got several English language stations on the television. One added feature is that the hotel is across the street from a shopping mall and grocery store. This was good for buying water and snacks for the stay, and not having to use the pricey snacks in the room at the mini bar. However, the grocery store across the street does not sell beer or wine, and don't ask. Konya is a very religious city, the most conservative by far I visited in Turkey, and the staff was offended we asked. I took a cab to the city center, and the price was around seven lire. The restaurant was very nice, and the breakfast buffet was very good.

the hotel is really nice with a beautiful reception and entrance lobby. the restaurant at the top floor is amazing with nice view. Very good food and cheap compared to Europe. Unfortunately the air conditioning in the rooms looks not to be powerful enough and I had to ask twice to the receptionist for fixing it or improve the situation...no way... Overall I still prefer Rixos Hotel...
