This is an upscale boutique hotel that offers the facilities of a palace while giving personalized service beyond your expectations. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable, but the highlight of our stay was our wedding anniversary at Zest, the fusion restaurant (he hotel has 3 or 4 outlets if I remember, including a maltese restaurant!). The chef had prepared a special selection of asian starters that was just mind blowing!
We highly recommend this hotel, the staff is really nice and helpful and we will surely come back soon.

great location , nice but very compact room with side sea view.
very clean and tidy throughout.
watch out for the music school practice sessions next door there are only so many times one wants to hear the rocky theme tune!
my only gripe is i felt it was expensive for what we got basically a very small room and no breakfast included so value for money not sure???

The hotel provides all the comfort expected in a very nice building in respect with the Maltese architecture, not like those 5 stars hotels made of concrete, steel and glass with no character. The staff is very helpful in all manners, in English, French, German, Italian and Maltese. The breakfast buffet will satisfy every people. We choose the cheapest room rate, had barely no view on the bay, but a room is made to sleep and the bathroom to clean, so it was very good. The only disappointment was for the mattress, but after 2 nights you get use to it. The hotel is very clean and the service was way above our expectations. You have a 5 star service in a friendly ambiance. Definitely, we will go back to Malta and will not look for a different hotel. It is worth the price!

We have now stayed at Hotel Juliani twice, and it gets better and better. The staff and the facilities are perfectly matched to a relaxed, yet elegantly luxurious visit. I couldn't recommend it highly enough - make sure you stay in a room with a sea view, as Spinola Bay is spell-binding at any hour of the day.
We were in Malta for a family event, and so had booked a large number of rooms at the Juliani for 4-5 days. The general manager and all his staff couldn't not have been more accommodating to the varied needs of all the group, whether they were parents with very young children, or those who liked to go out late, and come home even later.
And it does have some of the best coffee on the island!.
