I have stayed at the hotel for almost half a dozen times before always on business. This time things have changed during summer time the rooms are unbearably warm and the noise level is way too high since there is a bar and some other party place across the street plus the noise from the tivoli that still manages to reach the room. The people from the bar stand outside smoking and the noiselevel dies down at 05.00am when the bar closes.
So if you book the hotel DO NOT take a front facing room.
The hotel in it self is small and nice with the RhumBar in the inner yard and the ice bar plus Honey Rider bar that brings in a little locals too (which always is nice)
Service is prompt and professional as I said I have stayed here before and will do so next week but NOT in the rooms facing the front!

Booked the hotel for one night before a cruise. The hotel was chaotic when we arrived, the excuse was that there was a Jazz Festival on in Copenhagen that weekend. The check-in desk looked more like the internet access area of a small hotel, the staff were not particularly helpful. We eventually got our room, we had booked an executive room.......what a joke it was small and uncomfortably modern with two chairs bought for looks not comfort, the writing desk area and wardrobe looked like a kitchen unit, all ultra trendy but not functionable. No airconditioning (being fitted over the coming year) do check before you book otherwise you will have to open the windows and the noise is dreadful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have now for the last year stayed at Hotel Twentyseven on and off on business - better hotel you just can't find as a business traveller or as tourit, it's just like being at home.
Normally I'm not into all theise "write what you mean pages" but I just feel that I have to write something now.
My office books my room for me all the time when I'm going to Copenhagen - I told them that this is the only place to stay - I get breakfast and dinner included in my room price etc.
Yes there is noise from the bars sometimes and I understand the "older-generation" want to sleep at night, but I can only say one thing! Do not book this fantastic hotel if you can't stand a party - heavy noise etc. You have to think about you are staying in a hotel situated in Copenhagen and that people are going out using hotels, bars and clubs for fantastic cocktails!
I understand on my Danish co-workers that it is very popular to go out and party with friends in the hotel cocktailbars simply because the bars are the best - Honey Ryder at Hotel Twentyseven is just the best bar in Copenhagen!
When it comes to the noice and you can't stand that the rooms are small, no acon. etc you will quickly find that many hotelrooms in Copenhagen isn't the biggest in the world, but what should you care - you are only going to sleep and take a shower there nothing else - go out in the daytime and explore this fantastic city instet of thinking about if the room is little or not!
Thank you for great service at all times!
