About all I can say is - STAY AWAY!
This place is very run down. Check is was a nightmare, front desk staff is extremely rude, and the room key didn't work. Stayed in the tower section. The mattress was dirty and saggy. There was hair in the bathtub. Front desk couldn't even figure out how to call another room and disconnected me twice. The breakfast items are very slow to be refilled. In the bar there was one bartender, no waitresses. No food service on the premises other than pizza, restaurant closed quite some time ago. You can hear room doors closing all night, very noisy. Temperature control in the room is nonexistent. There is no elevator in the main section of the hotel so be prepared to haul your luggage upstairs.
Country Inn & Suites is right across the street. Go there instead - you won't be disappointed there.

We stayed here in February for a holiday party for my work. The dinner was okay except they were slow to refill the food on the buffets and people had to wait in line for quite awhile for the foods to be replaced. The staff were friendly. The pool area was nice. Breakfast was okay though they were out of a lot of things.
Our room was awful. We asked to be switched to a different room but they were booked. The toilet was dirty and we had to call to have someone come fix it because it wasn't working. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and on the sink and counter. Three of the lights in the room didn't have light bulbs in them. There was food on the wall above the garbage can that looked like someone threw something from across the room and it hit the wall and slid down, a month ago. Also it didn't have a fridge or a microwave.
My parents stayed in another room downstairs in the tower. When they first checked in they went to their room only to find someone else was allready in it. So the front desk had to give them a different room.
We have stayed here numerous times in the past when it was a Holiday Inn. We are extremely disappointed with our stay and don't think we'd stay here again.

Easy check-in and check-out, this hotel is now a Ramada so earning points has never been eaiser. The front desk staff was very friendly and let me have a late check-out with no problems. I would stay at this hotel again.

We had 3 rooms at the Country Springs Hotel and Convention Center in Stevens Point. Our family was there for a wedding. It was very convenient to Sentry Insurance where the reception was held.
We made the reservations directly with the hotel and the reservation staff was very professional and accomodating. We got a great rate. We also asked about previously posted reviews that were not so positive. They responded very politely, explaining the reviews and reassuring us that our stay would be very pleasant.
They were right. Our check in was very efficient. They did everything possible to get us into our rooms quickly ahead of the check in time. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet and we got a good nights rest.
We'ld definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Country Springs for one night in January for a family get-together. We were told when checking in that a number of other families were there for the night. We reserved two attached rooms, which was a hospitality suite on the first floor that also opened to the Pinery and Pool area. One room had two double/queen beds and the other had a double/queen murphy bed. The TV sizes appeared small (~ 19-21 inches), the bathrooms were small, and the rooms showed their wear and tear although the beds were fairly comfortable.
The hotel has a large pool area including a large hot tub, an arcade and many large tables set up in the Pinery area for gatherings. All areas were being used by a lot of kids and adults. Unfortunately during our stay, some families felt the need to gather outside our room until about 1:30 a.m.
Continental breakfast was average and they ran out of stuff quickly. The hotel check-in and check-out was fine.
