We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and found it suited our needs very well. It was an absolute bargain at this time of year and only cost £75 for the entire stay! The room was very modern and the whole hotel was clean and felt fairly new, there was a problem with hot water in the shower on our first morning but this was sorted after a call down to reception. The staff are very helpful and friendly and speak good English. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was a good buffet, never a problem getting a table, in fact the restaurant and the hotel in general seemed half empty but then its not tourist season. This hotel is outside of the city centre but not by much and its very easy and cheap to get the tram/bus in and out. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here on a stag do, went because it was a bargain through DialAFlight, £26 per room per night, steal, Location is not central but taxis are not expensive if you get the red Renaults. Rooms nice and functional, but the best part was the funky roof top bar that had live music going on and nice loungers to kick back on whilst popping back Jagermeisters! If i went back i would be happy to stay here again as after a night out in Riga you are quite happy to get the hell out the city!!!

Its a nice hotel, a bit outside the old town, but with the tram you can get into town in about 15 minutes, mind you in rush hour the tram will be packed. you can prebuy tickets for the tram and just get the stamped inside the tram. there are also busses into town. the hotel was nice, breakfast lovely etc. staff are nice. its just a pity when leaving the girl at the desk never even said thanks, bye, or anything. just one warning, a taxi tried to rip us off going to the hotel, even though we booked the taxi from a restaurant (thought that would be safer but wasnt)

stayed at this hotel in may, knew it was far out after reading reviews, dont let this put you off. it was so easy to use the trams, only 30p each journey, very frequent, last tram about midnight.rooms were big and very modern, lovely bedding and comfy beds. minibar stocked well and prices very good too. bathroom was modern and quite big, bath and shower. breakfast was nice, enough to choose from, coffee machine with decent coffee.never dined in the hotel but but the food looked lovely. cocktail bar on the top floor was busy enough, and live music was a bonus. would definately go back to this hotel. went for a day trip to jurmala, train was only 2.6 lats for two and took 30 minutes. this place is lovely, so much so i am going back in july and staying at the amber sea hotel.in total this year i will have gone to riga 4 times, with family and friends, love it. give the reval hotel main resturant a go , wow, fillet steak for 7.65 lats. delicious, went tow nights and had it both times.
