The hotel looks nice at first sight; then you meet the owner and her daugther and you realize (too late) that you should have gone somewhere else, somewhere with a friendly staff. They hate ALL strangers (French people are like this, American are like that...), in fact, they have no respect for their guests unless you don't bother them too much and give them money... And the rooms aren't extraordinary, so seriously, you can easily find something better where you'll find nice employees who are happy to help you.

We have just returned from a 4 day trip to Paris and stayed at this hotel. On arrival we were dismayed to find the hotel was extremely shabby. The carpet in the entrance hall and dining room looked as if it had been there for fifty years and the carpet leading to the bedrooms was filthy. In general, the hotel is run-down and a major re-vamp is desperately needed.
The rooms were very small but clean. The bathroom too was clean, but dated. There is no real dining area, only a small area at the front of the hotel with some small tables. This is where breakfast is served. This area too is extremely shabby and dull. Another point that I should mention is that, on the internet this hotel looked lovely! The site should be condemned under the trade descriptions act. None of our party's rooms looked anywhere near as nice as on the web pictures. He must have been a great photographer to have air brushed these rooms so well. The hotel lift was so tiny that, if you don't suffer from claustrophobia, you will after a trip on this lift. On the plus side the breakfast was alright and it was in a nice area, although it was a good walk from the Champs-Elysees. It was not that cheap either, we paid 140 euros plus 13 for breakfast and it was classed as a 3 star hotel. If you are going to Paris find somewhere a bit nicer to spend your money on. Very disappointing.
