I stayed for two nights from 18-20 June 2008.
The Hotel is in the business district of Alcobendas, about a 15 minute (16 Euro) taxi ride from the Airport. It is about 10 minutes walk from Metro Station "La Moraleja".
This is an ultra-modern hotel, of which there seem to be quite a few in Spain. The interior decor is mainly dark-wood, and the rooms have a very funky configuration, with both the beds and the work-desk being back to back in the centre of the room, rather than against the walls. It sounds odd, but it works extremely well! Free cable broadband in the room was provided.
Bathrooms are very well-appointed, with an awesome amount hot-water coming out of the shower! Seperate bath and toilet cubicle are good features. The rooms are very nicely lit, with lots of concealed low-voltage lights.
On the roof of the building is a very appealing terrace bar, with lots of shaded seating. Perfect for a evening cocktail!
Breakfast buffet is above average, with a very good choice of Spanish foods.
In summary; a very nice modern hotel, to which I will certainly return when I need to be in Alcobendas on business in future.

Schönes Hotel, aber schlechter Service
Guest name: Anonymous
Nice hotel but poor service

This hotel is pretty new, and the modern design of the interior and the rooms is very nice. The rooms are large and clean. Breakfast is average given it's a 4 star. What's missing is a kind of warm atmosphere, it's a bit too cold and some more colors or plants could help.
But here's the killer. Bring your spanish with you, the staff speaks very very poor english or quite often no english at all. The hotel also needs a serious manager and a team of supervisors, everything seems to be quite relaxed (I'm not going to say chaos, as our stay was quite OK, but there's a clear lack of leadership). When we arrived it took the receptionist 10 mins each to check us in (he was alone), didn't know where to click on his PC, etc. The barman (there's no real bar but a really nice lounge area) was quite OK, but half of what was on the drink list he didn't have. The staff at breakfast didn't even understand room numbers (digits like 1-0-1) in english...
We had the feeling the guys just started, didn't get a training, and maybe never worked in the hotel industry.
The hotel is located a good 15-20 mins from downtown Madrid (20-30EUR by taxi). If you want to go to town avoid peak hours as there is quite some traffic (17h-20h).
