This is not a four star hotel. Our first room came supplied with a HUGE spider in the bathroom. The staff at the front desk quickly moved us to another room. Was disappointed they did not offer us a free breakfast coupon for our trouble. The rooms are dated and need renovations. They are also not that clean. It is conveniently located across the street from the mall and within walking distance of big box stores.

This is definately not a four star hotel. There were stains on the bathroom ceiling. Stained grout around the tub. Dust on the desk and ledges. The bedsheets were thin with rips. They do not even have fitted bottom sheets or a decent underpad so you are constantly trying not to sleep directly on the mattress. The blankets had burn holes and were marked. Towels were rough but clean. The one restaurant has a weird jungle theme going on with dusy plants and parrots. Service was good and the staff were friendly. We would pick another hotel.

this was the last night of a month road trip, so we were feeling a bit down and sad... turned off the highway into medicine hat, and into the driveway of the first hotel we came across - and what a hotel! First of all it was canada day, so we got the night for $99 - amazing for a 4 star hotel! The room was great, and they threw in a free hot buffet breakfast! It's also a spa hotel, with full spa facilities - and I've never seen such a huge pool area with water slides for the children.... and a civilised area all around the pool for anyone watching them.. a shop, range of great restaurants and bars... and wonder of wonders a casino!!!!! I suppose I'm happy with this hotel because I won the jackpot, but I loved it so much we would have stayed another night if we could!

I stayed here during a recent relocation. I found the rooms to be clean and well kept.
This property has virtually everything under one roof. The weekends can get a little rowdy as it's full of screaming children in the waterslide and pool area. However, the restaurants and lounge areas are relatively sound proof and you only hear the odd noise from the kids.
Food is average. But then so is the property. It's probably the best hotel in Medicine Hat but it's not 5 star so don't expect that.
The Jungle cafe has a buffet every day at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good selection but if you're a health nut not much choice for you.
The "M Grill" is their mid-scale restaurant. Wouldn't recommend it for kids. They have created a nice ambience but it difficult to maintain it without a dress code. Food is resonably priced (for a hotel restaurant) and well prepared.
Brunch on Sundays is excellent. $22 for Adults is a steal for a shrimp fountain, king crab legs and all the standard fare like breakfast items, carved roast beef and a crepe station.
Lots of amenities in the area including grocery stores and a shopping mall across the street.
Great value for the room rate which includes buffet breakfast.
Casino on site too with a lounge attached. A few gaming tables and lots of multi-denominational slots.
