My boyfriend and I booked a few nights in Les Suites in Ottawa last September and we LOVED it. It has a prime location, our room was beautiful and affordable, clean, and the staff is incredibly pleasant. The hotel's location, mere yards from Bywater Market, were perfect for us, as we had planned just to hang out and explore the city for three days before heading to Montreal. While I wouldn't really suggest this if you are looking for something quiet, it's a great choice for a prime location in the city. Because of the fact that it is smack in the middle of a very busy part of the city, you certainly hear cars and people yelling and moving around at night (we were high up in the hotel and were facing the city and even with the windows closed had a lot of street noise). It was not an issue for us -- the rooms were spotless, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we really lucked out with price. While we generally stay at B&Bs, we found Les Suites to be both private and personable. We can't wait to return, to the beautiful city and the great hotel.

Great value with downtown location and wonderful staff. A perfect place to stay over Canada Day. Very family friendly with exceptionally large suites. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a downtown hotel.

Checked into hotel with no problems (we had reserved two rooms for our group). One room was fine but the other room had someone in it. So the staff found us another room but the lock was broken and could only be opened by an actual master key (not a master swipe card). They offered to let us stay there but anytime we left the room we would have to call them to get back in. The other option was a tiny tiny room. We took the tiny room as we did not want to call the desk every time we went sight seeing. The first room was fine, the tiny roon was REALLY TINY and very noisy. The staff was excellent and gave us a free breakfast to compensate but the fact that we slept so poorly makes me beleive that I will not stay in this hotel again, there are too many other options in this city.

This Christmas my family decided they would travel to Ottawa to celebrate. My brother and his wife brought their two young children up from the states and my parents travelled from out of province. Upon checkin, the kids were greeted with their own checkin package consisting of a coloring page, crayons, and a toy. They were thrilled! This set the stage for the rest of our stay. From the friendly service to the beautiful rooms this hotel was more than we could ever ask for. What a treat it was to have the fully furnished kitchen. With two small children the washer and dryer came in handy as well. We truely felt like we were at home. The staff even took the time to get to know the boys and would greet them in the lobby each time we would go anywhere. They felt like celebrities. Thank you to Chris Pierce for your special attention to detail. We would like to thank Les Suites Hotel for making our Christmas the best one ever.

We made the hotel home for a week and enjoyed the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The suite was clean, quiet and comfortable. It looked new. We had a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen on the courtyard side. The bonus was the washer dryer. There was a heat wave for the first few day of the trip and being able to wash clothes was a great help. The hotel is just a few blocks from By ward Market area and you could not find a better place to get meals. There were restaurants everywhere. I just loved walking around town and Les Suites was in the center of it all. The only bad thing about the room was the foam pillows on the bed, they were hard. It was not so bad for us as we travel with our own pillows but if we had came with out pillows of our own it would have been hard to sleep with them. All and all a great stay.
