OMG!!! We loved the Westin, can not wait to go back there! The staff, the hotel and surrounding areas are breath taking! The service was above standard and could not fault the resort itself. On the down side, the reception staff were very slow and the resort itself is a littel bit pricey. A perfect place for anyone that wants to get away for quiet R&R.

We stayed at the Westin Langkawi for a week to celebrate a joint family birthday in May. We were coming from the UK, Singapore and Australia so wanted somewhere special. The Westin didn't disappoint. We had six children ranging from 3yrs to 12yrs and they all had an absolutely fantastic time - particularly in the hotel's Rock pool. The food was suitable for all ages and nationalities of children and there was plenty of choice around the resort. And if you did need to get the children out of the midday sun there was a covered shopping centre nearby with kid-friendly activities including sand art and a bouncy castle. The resort setting was gorgeous. The grounds were beautifully tended and clean, the swimming pools were fantastic and the views from the bar and restaurant were wonderful. And, despite not really being suitable for swimming, the beach was clean and pleasant - even when the tide was out. But perhaps the best thing about the Westin was the staff. Charming, friendly and incredibly helpful, they made our children feel like celebrities - and nearly all had an exhaustive knowledge of soccer to please our Manchester United-mad six-year-old! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other families.

I have been staying almost all 4 to 5 star hotel in Langkawi but honestly Westin Langkawi is the best. The moment you check in with excellent check in staff to the houskeeping staff where they will take care of you all the way. The room was so comfortable and spacious with all new brand Heavenly Bed and luxury bathroom waiting for you. Also try to stay at their very own villas, feel free to contact their houskeeping staff if you need anything extra and as promise they will come less in 5 minutes.For breakfast at Taste Restaurant the food was so good and their excellent staff will always be there to assist you and if your need extra assistant feel free to contact the wonderful Taste Restaurant Manager- Mr Anuar Abu......He's a lovely man. All Taste restaurant Chef are very friendly .....chef Khairul, Chef Andrea, Chef Yab and Executive Chef Chandran.At Tide and Splash Restaurant please order the wonderful homemade pizza it was superb... If you need any info and assistant during your stay contact their room manager Mr. Ernest....He's a very helpful and love to smile all the way. Don't forget about the spa located at beachfront view of Andaman sea. At the airport do stop by at The Westin Lounge located at departures hall and you can relax while waiting for your flight and as i promised you will really enjoy your holiday with Westin Langkawi, Malaysia.
