Worst travel experience ever! Do not book a room from their website- it is very unsecured! Placed my order the night before I arrived and when I got there, they had charged my credit card for previous night (the night I had ordered the room) and said it was my fault for not putting in the correct date. However, I did put in the right date and their website went down. Of course, they provide no confirmation via e-mail. They were rude and miserable to deal with! So they didn't let me stay there or refund my money. Lost $90.00 for a hotel I never slept in and would not give me a good answer to why, if I had already paid for the night before. They gave me the run around blaming the website and the website people blamed the hotel staff. No one knew what was going on! Just becareful if you stay here and if I were you I wouldn't leave anything valuable in the hotel room. There's something fishy going on over there!

Great hotel, perfect for the business traveller. Just returned back from a three night stay at this hotel and was very impressed, the rooms were very spacious and clean, with the added bonus of free wireless internet connection, microwave and fridge. You will also find a small business centre, swimming pool, spa and outside patio area. The staff were friendly and the FREE continental breakfast had enough variety to make a good start to your day. I will certainly be staying here again in the future, excellent value for money.

The Wingate is convenient to the highway, the speedway, casinos & any other attraction in Joliet. The hotel is clean & has a lot of nice features like pool, hot tub, exercise room & continental breakfast. Each guest room has a mini-fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker, alarm clock, full size iron & ironing board, 2 phones & internet access. I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and have been satisfied each time. They do sell out quickly when there is a NASCAR event at the speedway, so you have to make a reservation early to get a room at those times.
