This was our 4th time in past 4 years at this property. As usual, we booked a river front room - great views! As reported in previous posts, this property is very outdated. The rooms including the bathrooms are quite comfy and large, but the kudos stop there. The patio overlooking the river was filthy dirty with dust and spiderwebs. The patio furniture was just as dirty, and hopelessly outdated. The room acoustics/insulation in this hotel is just plain non-existent. We were on the 2nd floor and virtually every morning we could plainly hear the 3rd floor occupants above us walking around their room. The same for the occupants on either side of us. The last time we stayed here we were on the 3rd floor and when it rained the roof leaked - staff had to come up and put a bucket in the middle of our floor. They could not move us as they were sold out. The staff was great - but must admit the rooms were not cleaned very well on a daily basis. Lobby staff great and friendly. The restaurant food is just adequate - but has a nice feel to it and great views of the river. So, it seems that the current owners/management are engaged in a Deferred Maintenance Program. Too bad - the location is great.

I booked this hotel through Priceline for $75 a night and am glad I didn't pay full price! The beds were comfortable, the room was large and clean, and we did have a nice patio overlooking the river, but overall this seemed like a kind of generic hotel and not the lavish "resort" they tout themselves as.

Very nice. Rooms are attractive. We had one right on river, and the view was wonderful. Hotel is sprawling, meaning it was a fairly long walk from our corner to the lobby. Staff very pleasant and accomodating. Would stay here again without question.

This hotel has seen better times lots of years ago - anyway this is a good place to stay. Everything's fine, quite and the nearby mall offers the opportinity just to hop across the road to shop. The room was clean and usefull, possibly you should ask for a room closer to the lobby. Otherwise the walk distance could be a bit long. Breakfast was great. Will come again - no doubt. Peter, Germany
