My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the suites at the Hotel Daniel for a long weekend.
The hotel is situated in a quiet area just off the Champs Elysees and so was perfectly central yet peaceful.
The decor throughout the hotel is incredibly pretty, with beautiful chinoisserie and attention to detail. Staff were obliging and polite with good local knowledge as to the best places to eat/drink.
If you are looking for a short relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings in the cenre of Paris, I would definately recommend the Hotel Daniel.

Hotel Daniel came highly recommended by my travel agent. And suffice to say I truly enjoyed the peaceful & romantic ambience of the hotel (decorated in a Chinoiserie style). Its location is excellent for shopping & eating as it is located within a stone's throw from Louis Vuitton & Gucci boutiques on/near the Champs Elyssee! The hotel staff also provided excellent service, as they helped make restaurant reservations & secured tickets to avoid those notoriously long museum queues!
Truly enjoyed my stay in Paris!

I wrote the first review for Residence Bassano several years ago and it appears in the top ten of Trip Advisors' rankings. Last month, I spent three nights in Paris with one of my daughters, who is studying in Italy. We had a junior suite in the Daniel. It was fine. Our living room was perfect for our needs. The bathroom was a bit tiny compared to the U.S. "standard". The walls were covered with fabric and the living room had adequate space for happy hour. The service was top drawer, five stars...the staff speaks English. They go out of their way to accomodate you...they will give you breakfast at off hours...fix you a boxed meal if requested, and generally, give you anything you want.
This is a small, boutique hotel. I have stayed at many Relais and Chateaux hotels in Europe, and this one is small and different from those. That said, the service is impeccable. No, it's more than than that....it's outstanding. I gave a box of American chocolates to the front desk because I appreciated their effort and I wanted them to like Americans. Stay here.
Compared to the Residence Bassano, which I launched with an early review...this hotel is more up scale. It's on the oppostie side of the Champs Elyisses but close to everything.

I loved the decor of the Hotel Daniel. There was however a slight problem with my room: it was not ready. But the staff was so nice I didn't even notice the inconvenience. They made me choose the color of the room I wanted.
Everything is beautifull and the food is great for a small hotel like that: so inventive. The chef prepared a desert for us as an improvisation . It was so delicious that we asked for the receipe.
The only problem in this hotel came from the noise at night. I haven't slept correctly a single night. The hotel is tiny, you get all the noise from the corridor and the next rooms. It was a nightmare. Add to that the noise coming from the street. The hotel is located behind the Champs Elysees and everyone going out at night park their cars in the streets around. It was yelling and slamming car doors and starting on engines all night. My worst sleeping experience ever! Even though I'm crazy about the decor and I find the hotel reasonnably priced, I wouldn't have the courage to go back there. Such a pity.
