Hotel is great, great price, great rooms, great breakfast, very good BBQ buffert at night. Hotel is located at a lake and looks great, you can walk around the park and will be surprised. Location is half an hour drive with a taxi from the westlake / dowtown area. So be prepared to travel if you want to go to the city. Costs about 60 yuan for a taxi to the center. Wich is about 6 euro, so about 9 dollars. Wich is very cheap i think. Rooms are great and have everything you want, next time i would choose a club room since it has some more ameneties. We had lakeside wich cost a little more but a gardenview would have been sufficient. Keep in mind it's HOT (!!!!!!!!) in the summer, not a little hot but very hot. That's not the hotels fould anyway. The swimming pool was superb and very big. Go to the restaurant at night and they have a buffet and BBQ wich cost about 100 yuan, 10 euro, 13 dollars. It's great you get al the food of the buffet and the brazilian waiter come's by with BBQ-ed meet. Very nice and oooooh so jummi !!! Don't expect a lot of english in the hotel, the now the necessities but don't expect them to understand you when you ask anything other then the standard, were is my room.... I think that with the price (we payed about 75 euro's a room i think) the location is no problem. The sofitel on the westlake, costs mutiples of this one, and is not nearly as scenic as this one.
