This threadbare place has a good location & cheap rates, but lack of care makes it seem that this place will soon slip from the realm of barely acceptable if all you want to do is sleep & wake, into the Twilight Zone of Dying ,Don't Stay There Ever Motels . The furniture in the room was noticabley shaby, some rooms seem to have fridge and micros while others do not ,and the heating cooling system did little but make noise....the kicker for me though was a blob of brown goo behind the toilet( which seemed on its last legs with every flush)...only noticed the goo in the morning on my way out of the shower & surely did not want to look at it too closely.....anyway do not think this vagabond will stay at this Inn anytime soon!

Don't stay with them. I traveled with my family, husband and three kids. Checked out the accommodations online then made reservations via phone. (We weren't sure if 5 people per room was o.k.) They were fine with it. Now I know why...
The room smelled of smoke, the mattresses were dirty (looked like spilled coffee or blood.) What looked liked chewing tobacco on some of the walls. Dirty bathroom, dirty walls, dirty mattress. And to top it off the A/C didn't work on a 99 degree day. They said the A/C didn't work because they had shut off the water.... I have no idea why that made a difference. Then when the water was turned back on it still didn't work.
We all came down to visit a sick relative in the hospital and didn't have to spend too much time in the room Thank Goodness!!
They promised a microwave and refrigerator and those weren't avaliable (even though I saw several rooms with both items in them.) Unbelievably we all slept good, but would never return to their motel again.

What a nice step up from Motel 6! We arrived Thursday evening and were greeted warmly. With little ado, we got our electronic key and good directions to the room. The bed was comfortable and there was also a table and two chairs--a nice touch. The bathroom was more than adequate, and my request for more pillows and a packet of decaf coffee for the in-room coffeemaker was filled quickly. We heard no neighbor noise at all. The room was clean and well lit. My only minor complaints were that the air conditioner clanked at Low speed (reported to the desk), and the "continental breakfast" consisted of nothing but coffee, donuts, and apples. (Glad we didn't count on that one!)
Overall, I'm very pleased, and will be back. Too bad the cable TV was too entrancing and we didn't get as much sleep as I'd hoped (darn SpongeBob!).

Rooms at the Vagabond were clean and roomy, but smelled of smoke. The toilet wouldn't flush, so we temporarily fixed it ourselves (broken chain) which was a good thing, since when we reported it to the staff they stated that there was no repairman on site (however, they did offer to give us another room). There were lots of little annoyances such as no coffee for the in room coffee pot, coffee left in the pot was not cleaned out, two clean towels left for three adults, barking dogs that woke us up at 6:30 am (beware! it is a pet friendly hotel) no new soap for the second day, and the pool had obviously not been cleaned in some time. We agreed that, for the price, we would of expected a little better treatment.
