Booked this hotel based on price and favorable reviews. This is a typical older motel but we did not enjoy. Our first room had dead bugs on the night stand and the air was broken. We switched rooms and did not have these problems but a domestic dispute above us had us check out the next day.

first time experience of a motel in the u.s.a., positioned approx 1 mile of main palm springs shopping street. room was clean, bed linen clean , shower /bath facilities all worked and again were clean. swimming pool and hot tub, which again were clean and fully usable even for non swimmers. fridge and microwave in room plus coffee and tea facilities, this motel does not provide evening meal etc although it does provide continental breakfast, get to it early as the gannets will eat it all. supermarket is within 5 min drive/10 min walk so you can find something to microwave etc if you do not fancy eating out, june is low season so some of the eateries were closed but there is still several within walking distance plus with a car you can get to the main strip where numerous places to eat exist . so overall no issues with this place, would i book there again, see no reason not to do so

We stayed here 2 nights as part of a tour and were very satisfied with the place. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - and allow 10 mins free on the reception internet :-) The pool was fabulous and the whole place had a good atmosphere. We were on the top floor and the room was large and comfortable. The beds were clean and there were plentiful towels and hot water etc. There is an iron & ironing board and a hairdryer provided in-room which is excellent. The Motel was well located and we ate at Davy's Hideaway across the road one night. The other night we ate at Pomme Fritte in town (and no, it's a French restaurant not a chip shop!) I cannot fault this charming motel and would recommend it to anyone.

I stayed at this hotel during spring break, so the hotel was packed. We had some noisy college students next to us, and I was impressed by the way the management responded to our complaints about the noise. (They told the noisy people to quiet down or leave. We had quiet after that). The room was big, and very clean. The bed wasn't really comfortable, but not bad. There was free breakfast in the morning, we had coffee and bagels. All in all, an excellent value for the price.

Recently had friends and family stay at the Vagabond Inn in downtown Palm Springs for a special function. The property is charming, nicely landscaped and has a fantastic pool area! Everyone that stayed there enjoyed the continental breakfast served poolside and said the staff was very accommodating. They have a nice product and good rates. I would definitely book friends or family there again.
