Stayed in this hotel for a family reunion in town. We have stayed at the Best Western before and I was looking forward to trying a new place. This place was nicer than I thought it would be. The front entryway and pool areas look really nice and elegant. I used the pool & hot tub and enjoyed it. The staff was really nice and when we asked to upgrade to a suite upstairs with a jacuzzi they found one that would work for us (I think it was the California Suite). It was MUCH more spacious and the decor was easier on the eyes and the jacuzzi was a really nice touch as well. The "view" was of the graffiti next door (but it IS Los Banos...) so we just kept the blinds closed. Since we were there for 5 nights we had a good taste of the place and I can say that I was very comfortable and pleased with our stay.
Also the staff was very flexible with the family using the common room for a few days and allowing us to move the tables around and bring a lot of food in.

We had to stay in this area driving from L.A to San Jose and although the staff were very friendly and the hotel looked the nicest from the pics, there were some issues. The general area is awful so this was the nicest and cleanest looking hotel in the area. The Best Western is about a mile away and looks like a converted Motel 6. The receptionist seems like the only staff person they have and appears to be in charge of everything. The pool heater was out so we could not swim since it was too cold. The rooms were nice, big and generally clean but we could not sleep all night because there was a loud, hissing, buzzing sound made by the A/C unit or pool motor or something outside the room. This was the case in all the rooms it seems because others were complaining of the same sound. The walls are also so very thin and doors not soundproof so you hear everything. People were walking in the hallways and talking at 2-4am and we would wake up every 30-40 minutes or so because of this. The place wasnt even busy-just LOUD. The free buffet is a joke and the worst I have ever seen. They claim fruit, pastries, bagels, juices, etc BUT it is just a basket of ugly apples, hard as a rock packet bagels, stale looking english muffins and just one toaster so everyone is standing around trying to toast their sorry looking bagel or muffin so it is edible. Most just opted out and went to McDonalds or something. If you MUST stay in this area, you don't have many choices. This is still the best looking out of the bunch in the area but just don't have high hopes.

I stayed there for a week. It is so well kept, most importantly very clean. Everything is so organised and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpfull, It is also on the main street so food places are a few steps away. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is fussy about where they want to stay and i would definitely book there again if i had to.

What a jewel!! We were on a trip to Las Vegas. Los Banos was halfway. It was GREAT. It is new, clean, staff is friendly and the indoor pool was great! It has a work out room off the pool area too! Oh and a continential breakfast to boot! It is about 5 miles off the 5 fwy and well worth the jaunt.
